Chaos as a Final Boss

I don't think Chaos was that bad of a first final boss for the ff series. It's rather hard to judge ff1 as it was released at a time where none of us could really appreciate the minute things in a game for its era. we can't judge it to the ffxs of the world, nor can we judge it to anything in its time. only dragon quest was up to the test, and that was only in Japan.

For the first final fantasy's final boss..i thought he a was a decent challenge...had i had a hard enough time trying to beat him..i basically was screwed over when i ran outta mana...mp whatever

yeah i thought the name itself was nice, and that's why he's ok with me. i don't even remember the strategy i deployed.

I always had two warriors and a black and white mage, and I'd just use haste on the warriors and keep attacking him and he'd die quickly. I've heard people say they can't beat him when they're maxed out, but I can't see why not cause I was only at like level 20 and I found it pretty easy. Maybe the PSX version is easier or something

given the era, he was fine. he looked cool, and had a cool name. that's all that they needed lol.
