You know in a Video game discussion you need a thread like this...

so every1 knows tht the new consoles are at war to take the new generation... mostly between the Xbox 360 n the PS3 n the wii being a league of its own...

well what do guys think about this.. n whts your fav console...?

I would say Wii is second followed by PS3.

I wouldn't choose anything else over the Wii. They're so much more fun than any other console. Nintendo's had so much success with it too, they've made more money than the otehr two combined I think. And do you know what? Wii's are so much on demand now that I heard a guy sold one through ebay for $100,000. I guess he must have been really rich and wanted to get his kid a Christmas present.

I really like the XBox 360's gameplay. It's the only system with a rumble feature because Bill Gates bought the rumble rights, and its very good graphically. The two analog sticks are in perfect position.

I wouldn't only by a PS3 for exclusive Square Enix title, which I am almost sure will not happen.

Finally I will never buy a Wii. I hate the concept of it, and Nintendo lost any sale from me when the Gamecube bombed.

My vote goes to the 360!! Follow by the Wii in 2nd place.

You shouldn't judge the Wii just because the gamecube wasn't good... the Wii is so much better than the Gamecube

I'm not judging on the basis of the Gamecube. I'm judging Nintendo on the basis of the Gamecube, and the Wii on the basis of it involves physical activity when I'm trying to rest and play video games.

I like the idea of boxing though.

I like PS3 the best. 360, eh. The Wii seems dorky to me. However, I don't have any interesting games for the PS3 yet. ><

Tif is there any game that's actually exclusive to the PS3 meaning you can't buy it for a 360?

if ps3 gets any exclusive, it'd be doing a lot better, but i don't believe they do.

They should start with a re-release of Final Fantasy VII and VIII with improved graphics, because those games certainly did not get the benefit of graphics to prove their greatness.

i'd go as far to say that a release of those games would push ps3 right to the top easily.

Vince- I'm not too sure. Too many games to look at, but FF13 maybe be PS3 exclusive. It's a very high chance that it will be. Besides, I love how Square only likes to share with Sony! All other companies like Microsoft and Nintendo just can't hold a title of a Final Fantasy game too well.

All of the best games are for the Wii, and they're not shared by any of the other systems... That's one reason why Nintendo makes so much more money

Okay wel... Il guess il state some thing for people... the 360 doesnt hve a rumble feature or a motion sensor feature because ms didnt feel it was needed the rumle feature for the ps3 is now available wit the new dual shock... the ps3 does hve lots of exclusives...

By the way the format wars is pretty much over because like 4 companies including warner bro hve gone bluray exclusive.. and paramount the currnt backer of HD-DVD will stop when their contract end on march... so a ps3 wit the bluray drive is now a good asset..

????... The 360 controllers do have a rumble feature the only ones that didn't were the PS3 controllers. Motion sensing has only been a disaster for the PS3 besides MS doesn't need it to sale units.


Here's my opinion on those PS3 exclusives

MGS4 - It looks interesting but Konami hasn't really deny the chance of it getting ported to the 360 a year later after it's release on the PS3.

FFXIII (currently confirmed by square) - Both of them look amazing but a late 2008 release doesn't look like its gonna happened.
FFXIII Verses - Square Enix is doing the same thing as Konami and both might get ported to the 360.

Little Big Planet - The game looks like it has a lot of creativity but I don't know if I could get into it.

Uncharted Drakes Fortune - It seems interesting but the game is just a mix of Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider and Gears of Wars which in my opinion it's not really a good thing.

Ratchet and Clank - I consider the Ratchet and Clank series one of the worst series ever created so l'll stop here.

Heavenly Sword - I have played the demo of the game a couple of times and it's interesting!

Killzone 2 - I seen gameplay of the game and to be honest the game needs work or it's gonna suck just like Kill Zone 1.

Kingdom of hearts 3 - I can't really say anything about it other than it might be release on the 360 as well.

Unreal Tournament III (for the time being) - I'm surprise that this game is just a multiplayer game with a few cut scenes just to add some story to it.

Resistance the fall of man (1 and 2) - I haven't played the game but I might check it out if I actually end up getting a PS3.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - I don't know if you can really consider this one an exclusive since it's a remake of a remake of an Xbox game , lol!

Warhawk - It just another multiplayer game so I'm not that interested.

White Knight - I don't know anything about it other than it's an RPG.

U know whts funny I totally didnt notice the rumble feature on the 360 controllers.....

-Motion sensor a problem I dont see how an additional feature could be a problem... Its not really a necessity so it can only be a plus... its not like the ps3 controllers cost any more then the 360s...

-As I stated this is only scratching the surface...
- konami esp kojima have stated over n over again that the game will be a PS3 exclusive... I mean im sure ther is a good chance tht they might also release a similar game titled dif on the 360 later but right now its only planned on the PS3...

-The game is still currently scheduled for this year n ther hve been no recent news of the first XIII game being delayed... Ive also read the game is now running on PS3 hardware... For the time being XIII and verses is a PS3 exclusive we can all make predictions but im basing on facts available...

-Uncharted... well you said its like 3 games put together and tht makes it a bad game.... then ur seriously mistaken does tht make halo the same as any other FPS... n does tht mean mass effect is jst like any other RPG... you can say a game is like this game and another but if it can hold itself compared to the others then its a game thts well worth it.. which uncharted is... uncharted raked up 9s o better on all ratings exp gamespot...

-The game play ive seen of killzone is atleast on equal footing as gears of war... and tht game did great and I think given the time this game could be better then gears...

-Unreal III.. the whole series is based on the multiplayer aspect...I mean halo is only worth playing because of the multiplayer... I mean the story line is crap on halo....

-The ninja gaiden series hve been around for a long time... it strted before the NES i believe so I wouldnt consider it n xbox game....
