| 1. Be respectful - Make sure that you are not being innapropriate with your role playing. Just make sure that you're not going overboard with explicit content (though I don't mind some foul language). This means that you are to be kind to your fellow members and not godmod. This includes in battle as well as knowing more than you should know. We've all done this before, so just keep it in mind. 2. Make a profile - Most likely Ben will be accepting the profiles (maybe myself too). You can find the template in this Haven section and post it in the subforum designated for it. If you have created your character and want to use it (as in it's in the Hall of Records) please just copy and paste it into the template. This is the same for if you'd like to keep a similar character from the last rp. 3. After you get approval, you should begin posting in the town/school sections. If you're going to create an adventure/mission, please check in with Ben just to make sure it's alright. We are extremely open about these, but it could be confusing if two people accidentally make contradictory missions. Missions/Adventures will predominantly be two the major geographic areas of the world so there will not be a separate section for missions unless one becomes needed. 4. There will not be formal dorm assignments. Due to a lack of characters, this will be a little unecessary. However, you can feel free to create a thread about your dorm and send your roommate of choice a private message to see if they'd like this. Otherwise, you can have a single room to invite people over to. Also, a good idea might be to use your "room" thread as a journal where you stop to reflect on the people you met and events you have. Something like a journal log. All of this will go in the dormitory section. 5. To avoid having too many subforums, there will not be separate forums for every part of the school. Instead, this will all be referred to as "Campus". If you want to write about the cafeteria, classrooms, or school functions, it belongs here. 6. Have fun and ask questions if you need to! | |
