Lucien walked into the bar of a town nearby the academy. He wasn't comfortable going to a celebration with large amounts of people, plus he already had plans for the night of the ball. Lucien gave a sigh, seeing such a small crowd in a pub a night time. He was hoping that there would be more people to gamble with in a game of triple triad.

"Damnit, looks like I've chosen a desert town to have a little fun." muttered Lucien to himself.

Walking over to a table, Lucien placed a small box onto the table and opened it. Inside the box were three smaller cardboard boxes, containing triple triad cards. Lucien pulled out a deck of cards, then closed the box and put it on the floor next to his feet. One of the bartenders came over with a complementary drink, since the bar was holding the triple triad gambling tournament. Lucien waited at the table, occasionally taking sips out of his mug, waiting for another person to challenge him.

Fancy seeing you here Mr. Marksman. Didn't know you had a taste for gambling. I don't do it much for gambling, but I quite enjoy the intricacies of the game.

Shinu set his box down next to him and looked around the room.

What do you say we get in a practice match and then divide and conquer this room to make sure we bring the crown back to the Garden?

"Gambling is like an adrenaline pill for me. The higher the stakes, the more pumped I am." Lucien replied to Shinu whilst setting up the Triple Triad board."I Believe your plan might just work."

Lucien set his cards down on the table. In his selected cards he had; a Chocobo (Clockwise from left: 4,9,4,8 ), a Bomb (3,2,7,6), a Bite Bug (5,1,3,3), a Blobra (5,2,3,1), and a Wendigo (6,7,3,1).

"I'll go first, since your the challenger." Said Lucien, holding a card up next to his face.

Lucien placed his bite bug card down on to the board.

He looked over his deck. Ifrit (8,9,6,2), Shiva (9,6,7,4), Blobra (5,2,3,1), Geezer (4,1,5,1), and Tri Point (8,8,5,2) [Dude it's so hard to find cards!]
