kairi was running for all she had until she stopped leaning up against a tree watching as the sun started its way down the sky she felt herself holding onto the tree for support

"stupid stupid stupid!" she yelled at herself as she leaned against the tree slidding to the ground trying to whip her eyes on her arms " ... i dont care about it..." she mumbled into her knees 'if i dont care then why did it hurt so bad to see him go...' she thought and sat there until she settled down some and she just leaned against the tree staring at the grass replaying what she had just screamed at john

Faina had been walking down the nice, quiet path when she heard the sobbing. Stepping up her pace, she fould Kairi slumped again a tree, bawling.

Uh oh, she thought, I'm bad at this kind of thing.

Sitting beside Kairi, she put her arm over her shoulders, trying not to seem... Touchy.

Are you alright? Well, obviously not, but it's the right thing to say at a time like this, right? I'm sorry... I'm awful at making people feel better... Uhm......... Shoot.

"im fine its ok." kairi said embarressed for being weak and someone seeing her

"just out getting more herbs." she sai dand wriggled out of her grip

"its ok. your not bad at it. its just. i dont really want to be cheered up right now" kairi said and smiled sweetly at her before picking a flower and handing it to her it blossoming into a bright sunny yellow flower

"for your efforts. mix it with hot water to pour on any type of a sting and it will draw the posion out" she said and smiled slightly at her before it faded away and she turned walking past the trees and stopped when she found a patch of dead flowes. she fixed them up and then turned to see a little egg that had been cracked slightly resorting in the death of a little blue jay bird

she walked over and looked around cautiously remembering what her elder in her village had told her . equivalent exchange.

'so to bring back a little bird i would have to kill another bird or.. give up a life. but what is the worth of a soul?" she thought and stood leaned up against the tree the little egg in her palm and she looked down at it wanting with all her heart to hear the little chirping noise but there would never be.

Faina watched Kairi quietly and smiled when she handed her the flower. Kairi was so nice, and it was terribly sad to see her cry.

Are you sure there isn't anything I can do to help? I mean, no one cries just for picking herbs.

Did that sound insensative? She hoped not. God, she was TERRIBLE at this...

kairi laughed brightly at faina and smiled

"no im fine just... i suppose something got to me. i dont really know what it was myself..." she said and

"your doing fine at the cheering up thing dont worry. see im smiling now" kairi said and smiled softly

Smiles arent difficult to fake, Faina teased.

kairi blinked and then chuckled slightly at her and sat down next to her letting out a sigh

"your right. i suppose i get tired of behind happy all the time. i try and not let things get to me but they do." she said and shrugged

Shinu felt bad about the way he handled the situation with John leaving the Garden. He thought he was just blowing smoke, he'd be back in a day, obviously this wasn't the case. He underestimated his pride. Kairi was the most mad at him. Since they met, Shinu felt the urge to look after her, and even when she was most naiive, Shinu wouldn't give up on her. He didn't want her to break curfew, so he left check on her. To his surprise, she wasn't alone.

Hello Faina, and hello Kairi. I figured you were outside, I just wanted to make sure you didn't get in trouble for breaking curfew.

He slowly walked around Faina, a very interesting person whom he'd only met briefly. ((This timeline stuff is hard to keep track of)) He made his way to Kairi and put his hand on her shoulder.

It's going to be alright you know. There is a lot about him that you and I didn't get the chance to know.

kairi squinted at him for a moment before a snicker washed over her lips

"it gives me time to get better right?" she said and smiled at shinu

"youve always kind of given off that big brother feel to me shinu. thank you for caring" she said and gave him a slight bow for respect before yawning

"but your right. i should be getting off to bed." she said and smiled at him.

Shinu thought about what she said, and he knew it was true.

Yeah you're right. We all should get to bed. I can walk you both back. It's rather impolite to let a lady walk alone at night.

He turned and smiled to Faina to let her know he would like her company as well as Kairi's.
