Johnathan has had a taste for blood since he was a young child. His family and everyone he ever knew were taken away from him in a single night. His home was burnt to the ground and him, along with all the other children of the village, were taken to be turned into slaves or the ultimate fighting squad. His captors gave the 8 year old Johnathan his first blade shortly after and began training him and his fellow child soldiers to use them efficiently . Even with that weapon in hand Grieves knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything to avenge his family just yet. Grieves waited 8 long years of gruelling training and beatings untill he finally made his escape, leaving a trail of bodies and blood behind him. His only regret was not being strong enough to kill them all on that day.

5 years have past since that day, and 8 months have past since Grieves had left the Garden. Alone Grieves traveled the globe, looking for traces of where the bastards that ruined his life were, hoping to finish the job...

A messenger had passed out at the Gardens entrance, covered in blood and reaking of smoke. His village was under attack and he needed help. A note strapped to his belt was given to a freshman before he finally sucumbed to his injuries, the freshman ran towards the lobby, hoping to see anyone who would answer the poor man's call.

Raven was leaning agianst a wall just resting when he heard the sounds of hurried footsteps and opened his eye to see a freshman running by with a note in his hand, and he saw bits of blood on the note. "None of my business," raven said and closed his eyes again though his curiosity was getting to him.

kairi was walking by with her gym bag around her shoulder. lately she had lost the will to heal herself and from her combat class she had bruises and cuts all over her body

she had even twisted her ankle and refused to fix it.

she blinked seeing the man running by and she walked up to him

"whats wrong with you" she asked and looked at the note seeing blood

"are you hurt?" she asked with a blank expression

"No... I'm not hurt" the freshman said out of breath, "The man who brought this to me said he needed help... he mentioned the name Grieves."

The freshman handed Kairi the note.

kairis head jerked to attention at that name

"JOHN! is he ok were is he whats this note for?" she asked looking down at the note trying to read it through the blood stains

"take me to this man who gave you this" she said

"The man is dead..." The freshman said when staring at the ground, "All he said was his village was attacked and that they needed help. His last words were Grieves came and that was all he could get out before dying."

Raven was overhearing the conversation that the guy was having with Kairi, he had already came up with what happpened.

"Grieves, he destroyed the village," Raven said out loud getting up from the wall

"ah!" kairi yelled and turned running towards the gate and then out following a trail of blood to a burning village and she ran in looking about coughing from the smoke frantic to find john the note clutched in her hand as she looked frantically around for any sign of life

she stopped and coughed the smoke getting to her as she looked down again looking to see if the note could be read in the brighter light

Raven watched as Kairi went and ran out of the garden to find Johnathan.

"can't let her go alone," Raven said and then headed towards his dorm to get his sword.

A large blood stained Zweihander stood tall in the center of the Village's entrance. It was one of Grieves' many blades. The buildings had been destroyed and burned, but the fires went out many hours ago. Smoke rose from most of the remains. Bodies littered the ground and blood gathered in puddles. It was a true massacre. It looked like the small village had been completely cleared of all life.

In the distance Grieves stood above a building that looked like it had been cleaved in half. In his hand were two identical longswords drenched in blood, much like the rest of him.
