"First time for everything I suppose. Though I must say, totally felt weird."

Raven said to himself leaning up against one of the garden's rental cars, and swing the keys on on of his fingers waiting for Nia to arrive. He had never asked anyone to go on a date with him before, because normally he got asked and would say yes, but end up dumping the person, yet with Nia there was just something that he saw in her so he asked.

"Don't act stupid and just be yourself, that is the way to go."

Was the phrase that he kept telling himself. He then sighed and looked up at the garage ceiling. He hated the wait, though he should've figured that there would be one. He was just dressed in his everyday clothes, didn't think that he should've dressed up. Dressing in something comfortable would be better than overdressing or underdressing.

Nia walked to the garage quickly. Of course she was late, before she went out the room she looked in the mirror so many times that she lost count. She was nervous cause she was going on a date with someone she actually liked, it wasn't another set up date by her parents. Just before walking in the garage she took a deep breath and walked in. It wasn't hard to find Raven, just when she saw him she smiled. Nia was wearing blue jeans and white shirt with a small light blue flower on the side. She walked up to Raven.

"Hey, where are we going?"

The key's flew off of Raven's finger when he heard Nia and he caught them quickly when they started to come down. Smooth Raven, just smooth He thought to himself sighing a little, a littl red in his cheeks but he shook it off and looked a Nia. She looked beautiful as when he first saw her.

"Well you look nice, thank god i didn't really dress up. Well i thought we go out somewhere to dinner first, so lets do that okay," Raven said to her and walked to her side and open the door for her

Nia smiled at Raven and kissed his cheek as he opened the door for her. She sat in the car smiling.

"Thank you Raven, and I am glad that we both didn't dress up, so where are we going to eat?"

He smiled and walked over to the drivers seat and started up the car.

"Well you see I heard there was a nice restaurant that opened up in Balamb, I was thinking we could go there."

He said and then backed the car out of the its parking spot and then turned it around before heading out.

Nia smiled brightly and nodded.

"I'm hungry already, hope they have something good to eat."

"Yea same here, I don't want to waste money on something bad."

He said laughing a little. He knew whatever happened that he would have a good time anyways being there with her.

"So other than the few things that happened, do ya like the Garden already?"

He asked her curious.

She nodded smiling and closed her eyes.

"Oh very, mainly because I can do whatever I want not counting classes and missions of course, and I can be with people I enjoy being with too."

She looked at him and winked.

"You better not meet my family, they would scare you till death"

He nodded a little.

"I know what you mean there, to me it feels like i actually having a family again. It's my home now and I would protect it with my life."

Raven said to her, he hated driving really, but it was better than walking all the way to Balamb.

"I doubt anyone could scare me that much," he said to her.

She giggled and looked in front of her thinking.

"People in this Garden are amazing, and don't be so sure Raven, but don't worry, I am so not going to talk to them anytime soon. Ah! I can see Balamb already."

She said changing the subject, somehow she didn't feel comfortable talking about her family and how close she got to the Garden and people in there, especially now.
