| Everything was fine by now, but it just had to get ruined by such a silly letter. Crysta had just received a letter from back home saying that they were having a masquerade ball, and that the priness must be present. She was never a fan of all of it and she usually gets bored and all that, so she got an idea. She would invite her friends and non-friends here as well so maybe it would turn things around. She doesn't know if they are ones to crash a party, but if they did, it would be awesome, and no one could even tell if it was them or not since their faces couldn't be seen, and even they princess would help. Ugh, that word is making Crysta sick. Princess... barf ! Anyways, so she started paking her things, and wrote small letters for each of the dorms,
Hey, what's up ?
Guess I should be answering that since I'm the one sending the damn letter... so. I've sent you this letter cause I've been asked to ileave for a masquerade ball that is being held over at my kingdom. Usually, I ditch[sp?] this kinf od things, but maybe it won't be that bad if I have some of you people there with me. I know it may be cheezy, but guess you'll have each other to have some fun. Oh, and we'll be getting there by a long boat ride, and car ride, so you better not be soo sensitive 'cause even if I have those that don't move much, it'll be for a long period of time since I'm over at almost the other side of the damn world. Sorry, babbling. If you want to go, bring whatever normal, comfortable clothes, even t-shirts and jeans, I don't care, but something formal for the ball. Duhh. If you don't have a mask or any formal things, no worries. Tell me once we get there and I'll fix you with the finest. Be at the dock sooner than 6 pm sharp tomorrow, since it's when it leaves. We don't wait for anyone! Lol. See ya then...
Oh, I told Cid and he said that it's all good. He gave permission for those who wanted to go and even encouraged it, but that we should expect the best work form us when we come back. We'll be out for four to five days. Not sure, but I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
- Crysta It was already the next day and only two hours til they departed. Crysta hasn't seen anyone since she sent the letter since she has been organizing and stuff, but she was now ready. She was going on ahead before all of them so that she could tell the crew they had guests and to get drinks, food, the beds, and everything ready for them. When she got there through a taxi, she looked down at the dock. It had a beautiful boat and it was the only one around. Little does she know that it's more like a yacht than a boat, but she isn't much to know or even care about any of those things. Since it was getting a little dark already, it's lights were on and it looked absolutely stunning and calming as the soft sound of waves crashing on the background. The breeze was calm and cool. Crysta smiled as two crew memebers came to help her with her luggage and welcomed her. She had already told them before to skip any formalities or they would be fired at ones so no one called her princess or ma'am which was the worst, for her. Miss, was tolerated but not too much. Some others helped her step into the boat. She looked around to make sure everything was in place. It was all opened besides the rails. Those were white as the rest of the boat and the had a beautiful, wooden color to it. At the bottom end in the outside of a boat, read Royal Caribbean with some nice, cursive loops. The back part had some benches, and for you to reach the fornt, you had to go through either sides and about four steps to get to the deck. The rest of the middle is all under walls and ceiling with air conditioner. The doors were on the back and when you enter, was like a nice little, luxurious lobby with cushions, a long couch and a 56 inch LCD monitor. One would swear you walked into a hotel suite room or something. To the left were stairs going down that led to the bottom where all the beds were. Even if they were ones that stuck out the walls, they were really soft and comfortable with pillows made out of feathers and cotton comforters that made a cloud feel like sleeping in an old bunk bed you slept on when you were sent to summer camp. Though, on the right, were some other stairs leading up to a small workout room, the salon, a library, and the dining room, and there were some other stairs leading to the captains room. Where you could chat with him and learn about all the buttons and beeps and technical stuff to control the boat.Looking down at her watch, she noticed it was already five. There was still some time left but Crysta wasn't sure if any of them would show up. _________________ Is history something that repeats itself and remains unchanged or does it evolve with the passing of time…

| For someone who was quite social, Lucien did not go to many parties, fearing he would do something while he was drunk that he would regret, but this time it was different, everyone would be wearing masks, so he was more so in the clear to have a fun time without really bad consequences. Lucien had decided to dress up, so he fitted in more instead of looking like the outsider of the party. He decided to wear a white tuxedo with a red vest and a black tie. The mask he had chosen was one he absolutely loved. It was a jester mask that looks quite menacing and sinister, a mask that would suit Lucien's best friend Mikael more, but once Lucien made up his mind, he was not going to change it. The best part of it all for Lucien was that the brown hair dye had not washed out yet, so he thought that his costume suited him even more. As Lucien approached the boat, a member of the crew stood infront of the board that lead on to the boat. "I'm sorry, We do not allow bandits or sinister beings to join us." The crew member said, unflinching as Lucien got closer. "Move now, or you'll be food for the fish!" Replied Lucien, using the most evil voice he could summon. |

| Crysta had already gotten herself settled in and she was bored by the second. There really wasn't much to do in a damn boat when you had no one to talk to, but when she peaked out the window, she saw someone there but alreadt had the mask on. Obviously she could tell it was a boy, so she ran down the stairs and outside with a small laugh in her face, "Oh, I'm sorry, my bad for not being clear on this, but you didn't have to get here all dressed," she said and removed her mask. She smiled as she recognized Lucien even though they never talked much... or ever, "Let the crew get your things and you can change in the rooms since no one's here yet," she said as she got his hand and dragged him behind her and pulled them into the boat. When they got to the small lobby, she let go of his hand and pointed at the stairs leading down, "The beds and your things are down there. You can change there if you want," she said giving a last smile to him and walking out of the boat and stared out where she had found Lucien to see who else would arrive._________________ Is history something that repeats itself and remains unchanged or does it evolve with the passing of time…

| Peren, excited for the trip, and even more importantly, actually being invited to anything, immediately set to packing. Unfortunately, his formal clothing was limited to barely-worn tunic and slacks. It did little, however, to dampen his slightly misplaced enthusiasm. Erk, on the other hand, was more than well equipped for such an occasion. After Peren had gotten the letter under his door, Erk had seized upon the opportunity to crash their party crashing. The wizard rarely ever left the academy any more, and even then it was always on missions or official business. He was glad enough to be getting out of the place without having to worry about head-hunters and dragons around the bend, even if this amounted to what was essentially a field trip. The boat was certainly stunning, for Peren at least, if not for Erk. Still, it was quite impressive. Leaving his younger ward and the attendants to retrieve the luggage from the sable horse and dun pony that the two had arrived on, Erk stepped onto the boat, and turned around to look back at the hilly landscape from the deck. The sun was nearing the edge of the distant mountains, the sky just barely assuming a touch of crimson. It was almost as stunning as the paintings of exactly the same thing which adorned the walls of the administrative wing. Shouts interrupted his reverie, as the horses, freed of their burden of cargo, turned and began to trot back towards the dirt-beaten paths the old elf had taken to the docks. Erk cut off the pursuit of the attendants with a shout, "Leave them be! They're heading back to the Garden stables. You need not worry." Leaving the bewildered lad (at least, in elven years. In actuality, he was probably older than the servants combined) and attendants on the docks, Erk descended the stairs to what appeared to be a lounge. Hopefully, the ride would be smooth enough to enjoy it. Spotting someone who seemed to be Lucien, and the young miss herself, Erk crossed the room and seated himself in an armchair. "For someone of such obvious means," Erk began, addressing Crysta, "you certainly seem averse to using them." _________________ I think, therefore, I'm a liberal. |

| Kira walked down where his usual casual clothes, with a case in his left hand. The bag contained his formal wear and some other clothes, including the firey red mask he had found in the store. Walking down to the boat that Crysta had said to come to in her letter. Just how many times did she write that letter anyway? wouldn't it not of been easier to ask Cid to spread the word around or ask the students themselves. He saw the boat in the distance, but he couldn't make anyone out just yet. Hoping that Faina would already be there he carried on walking to the boat, but taking his time just incase Faina isn't there just yet. He waved down to the boat, hoping that Crysta would see him waving, and meet him some way down the path. _________________ |

| Damn, damn, damn, damn! Faina was late AGAIN. It was ten after five. She had spend nearly an hour deciding what to pack and what dress would go with her elegant, beaded black half mask. She giggled just thinking about the outfit. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she almost sprinted down to the pier where the boat was docked. She had been suprised to recieve a letter. Unless everyone had gotten one, in which case it didn't matter. Hahah After nearly tripping twleve times, she saw Kira with his bag, about to board the boat. He turned as if he was looking for someone and she waved, but he must not have seen her. Scowling, she picked up and pace and caught up with him, hugging him from behind. Hi, Kira. You're coming too? That's great! She giggled. It would be like a vacation with her favorite person. _________________ |

| Surprised by a door opening behind them, Crysta looked back and noticed Erk and Peren, the new guy. She watched Erk go to a chair and laughed softly at his comment, "Well, there was a reason why I agreed to join the Academy. It's a boring life out there..." she said and rolled her eyes as she remembered the memory of her past, "Please, make yourself at home, go ahead and take a tour around, do whatever. `I don't care," she said with a halfhearted smile at the end. She turned and went outside again. She noticed someone was out there and when she focused her eyes as she leaned on the rails, she noticed it was Kira waving. She smiled lightly and walked towards him when she got off the boat. When she met him half way where he was when she had spotted him, she opened her mouth to speak, but then noticed Faina suddenly behind him and wapping him in a hug. She laughed at the cute scene, "Glad you both could make it. Hope you didn't mind the late invitation, but I guess it'll be worth it in the end... I hope," she played. She turned around and headed back towards the boat, "C'mon. Lucien, Erk, and Peren are already here. Please feel free to ask for anything either to me or the crew members. Think of it as if you'e staying at a suite or something... except you don't have your own room," she laughed a little embarrassed, "Sorry... never expected to have much company on these damn, boring trips.." she apologized. It seemed there were still some thirty to fourty-five minutes til they departed, so maybe not that many people had decided to come one such short noticed. In a way, she hoped Nia and Shinu would stay behind, but even that felt mean to Crysta, so she had felt the need to invite them._________________ Is history something that repeats itself and remains unchanged or does it evolve with the passing of time…
