kairi took in a deep breath and while he was talking she was looking for a new way to attack her eyes seemed to be locked on him like the training dummy

she ran directly at him and but instead of attacking head on she rolled to the side and came up to the side of him hitting him in a pressure point in the leg then turned to hit the other one and then went for the third but wasnt as quick knowing he would probably stop her

His complacency having gotten the better of him, he was quite surprised by the feint which resulted in his left leg getting hit and turning almost totally immobile. Falling forward due to the loss of balance, he used the momentum to lift himsel and flip out of her reach, tumbling tothe ground near the dummy itself.
"O...ok, that was, quite good, I'm impressed, just keep up that spirit and remember not to be nervous as well when your opponent is wielding a real weapon...though that i can't teach since i can't use weapons that arn't CQC related. now where did i put those needles."
Reaching into his trenchcoat, he pulled out one of the needles he used for range combat and drove it hard near the point of impact, wincing in pain from the jab. Resting for a second, he removed the needle, tossing it aside and with that, he was able to stand fairly easily, the blood still flowing from the wound he had inflicted upon himself.
"Well, i can tell that when you have warmed up enough, you seem to be able to do it, though here we are both hand-to-hand fighters. Ok, I'll try using a weapon, not a real one but one i can use... the aim i'm trying to bring out is the same as when we began, to remove your nervousness in combat completely if possible."
Reaching into the trenhcoat, he pulled out a wooden kunai and after checking for and removing splinters, he held the small kunai at the ready, bracing for an attack

she just nodded her head and ran at him again this time since he was expecting her to turn to the side sne came at him and jumped up grabbing onto his shoulders to lip over him and she hit him hard on a spot on his neck to take out vision temporarily and with that she went for the pressure points again hitting the other leg this time and the shoulder before bouncing back and moving in to punch his face but she new it wasnt a very good through she was still trying to regain balance from stopping so suddenly

Corenian gasped when everything suddenly when dark, realising grip of the kunai. and when he felt his other leg turn immobile, he delibrately fell out of reach of the next attack. Using his hands to support him, he began to move on a handstand, listening out for the next swing.
"You know, when sight is blocked, the other senses normally get more responsive, that is, if you trained them that way." Fliping out of reach of the punch, he twirled himself on the floor, sliding towards her where he attempted to jab two needles, one into each of her ankles to impede movement.

kairi blinked sticking her hands down so the needles would go into her hand so it wouldnt effect her speed

she winced and pulled them out throwing them to the side and she blinked moving quitely to the side stalking around him till she came up on his side and she kicked him in the hip knocking him out of a hand stand

she waved her hand over her bleeding hand and it healed on its own and she smiled

Still blinded, Corenian gave a cough as the kicked returned him out of a hand stand. Grinning to himself, he removed three needles, jabbing one into each leg and one at a point behind his neck. Blinking twice and wincing slightly, he got back on his feet, staring straight at her.
"I stand corrected, I am througholy impressed by the attacks. Applying the same arts I've been trying though failing to learn... I'd take my hat of to you if i had one," he panted, checking that the needles were still in place,"well, other than pain i think i could still last for quite awhile... gonna have to leave these in till the effects of your hits wear off. Well I have to say, I'm more impressed than i though i would be.The automatic healing is a nice touch too."
Reaching into his trenchcoat, he pulled out another four needles and a second kunai. Within seconds, the entire area was covered in smoke which encased the whole room. "Well, i need to wait for the effects to wear off though i could fight with my acupoints injected. But this is just training for us both, so I'm just going to wait it out," his voice rang through the entire room.

kairi closed her eyes "right. im still going to find you though corenian." she said and took in a deep breath before waiting a moment before being able to pick out all the objects inthe room from there energy. she could see the room in a faint outlined sketch of different energy lights behind her eye lids

she started running towards a moving energy and threw a kick then a jabbing punch towards it through the smoke

Just before the jab could hit, there was a loud poof and the area there was covered in more smoke. The jab itself striking a mpiece of wood wearing the trenchcoat. A hearty laugh came from somewhere else, ringing off the walls, "yes, i do know ninjitsu, that was no lie, my father was a great practitioner, they used to call people like him ninjas... dad..."

kairi laughed slightly at this "they used to call me dad a jack ass." she said and closed her eyes again feeling the vrirations of his voice and running towards the wall she jumped off headed towards the vibrations knowing she was no match for this magic. she worked off finding energy. and with fake energy being thrown around to confuse her she was having a bit of a hard time with it
