Walking into the large room meant for Magical training, Asuma simply stood there, his metallic gloves giving off the occasional spark of electricity. He needed to train with his magic before going on the mission, not only to ensure that he could still work at top performance, but to make sure things didn't go wrong. The scar over his left eye gave him that reminder every time he looked in a mirror. The one time he hadn't made sure his magic was under control, it backfired and caused him to suffer in pain until he was able to control it once more. The nice little backfire even cause a stray bolt to cause the scar. Now, every time he went to a new place, he had to practice his magic. It was a bother, but it kept his powers in check. Raising his right hand, Asuma concentrated on the glove, as he could feel his magic taking effect, as the glove not only gave off electricity, but he could see the bolts slowly moving, while any regular person would just see fleeting bolts going across his hand. At least he knew that the intensive magic could work properly. Letting his hand drop to his side, Asuma crouched forward, as he sprung at a dummy that had been wheeled in through a wall as soon as he arrived. To anyone watching, it would look as if he was s lightly blurry, but to him everything was moving in slow motion. His gloved hand quickly flew forward, going through the dummy's chest, and then quickly out, bringing his hand from the dummy, only to send it flying back in once more. this time, he let the electricity fly into the dummy as he hit it, causing it to shake slightly, just before he pulled his hand out. As he did, the dummy burst into flames, just as Asuma turned around, not watching it burn behind him. Yes, it was going well. _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)

As the dummy burnt to ashes behind him, Asuma watched as another dummy came in through a hole made in the wall, closing behind it as the dummy stopped. Simply raising his hand, his right hand once again, Asuma concentrated on the lightning magic he was about to cast. Concentrated on the electricity he already felt increasing inside him. Concentrating it into a bolt inside his mind, the electricity shot forward, coming from his hand in the form of a single bolt, piercing through the Dummy's chest, making a gaping wound inside it. There were no flames this time, no. Charred places where the lightning hadn't destroyed the dummy, yes, but not flames. It was too early for that. Moving his hand to face sideways, and opening his hand so that all the fingers pointed outwards, more electricity shot from his hand now, in five small bolts that pierced through the dummy in five places around the chest hole he had made a second ago. Once again, the dummy burst into flame. With the high temperatures that were made with the lightning, with all five hitting at once it was impossible to stop the flames then. As soon as the electricity stopped and the dummy was done burning, Asuma sighed. "Five more, please. Flame resistant, if possible." At his request, five more holes appeared around the room, with five dummies, all looking like actual people, came through, and then stopped dead in their tracks, as Asuma stood in the middle of them. It was time for his bow now. Making a simple electrical current through his body, his bow, Magneta, came off the inside of his coat, coming out the bottom as Asuma maneuvered it through the air. Quickly forming outwards, the string grew taut, and the bow finally took shape, as Asuma held it in the air. Next, five arrows, metal, of course, came from the quiver on his right thigh, floating into the air, and settling onto the bow. Smiling slightly, Asuma made the bow turn, firing an arrow as soon as a target got near. Every single target had an arrow inside it by the time the bow had done a complete turn, as the dummies stayed standing. There was no electricity. Yet, anyway. The bow quickly wrapped inwards, as it folded and returned to under his coat. Raising his left hand into the air, electrical bolts shot from his hand, connecting to every metal arrow that had been fired. They acted like lightningrods, helping his electricity hone in on them. If they hadn't been flame-resistant, they would have burst into flame within a few second. All they did was shake, however, stopping as Asuma retracted and stopped the lightning, calling the arrows back out of the dummies and returning them to his quiver. It seemed that everything was in order, now. Now he could wait for the mission to start. [Anyone can post in here now, if you wanna spar or anything. I'm gonna wait here till the mission starts though XD] _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)

"Impressive. Using the metal arrows as a conductive agent for your lightning based spells and magic. I must say you are one person who's skills i would like to see in full effect, though there are others such as my Roommate Kira and Corenian." Raven said to the new guy. He had been standing there for quite sometime watching the man as he destroyed the dummies one by one. He was still extremely mad at the whole old man thing and had come here to train but someone else had already taken the training grounds. Raven then walked up the man and held out his hand, his gunblade holstered to his side of his leg. "Raven Corvinus, and you might be?" _________________ my epic work oh yea

Turning around as he heard someone speak, electricity snapped from his left hand, going into the air and coming back along the glove. He had been startled, slightly, but it was going to be expected. He HAD taken this part of the grounds, after all. the lightning ceased just as Raven walked towards him. He didn't mean him any harm...yet. It wouldn't do him any good to hurt him now, anyway. Taking the man's hand in his own, Asuma shook his hand, then brought his own back down to his side. "...Archer. I don't have a last name..." He wouldn't say his name yet...and he was still annoyed that Cid had deemed it necessary to say it before. Who knew his name was his own business, not his. _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)

"Archer huh? Doesn't that seem to be fitting for one who uses a bow in this time and age.Though i am taking that as an alias for people you don't want to know your true name, as Cid had already introduced you as Asuma." Raven said looking at him, though only one of his eyes was visible as his hair was now down and covering his left eye yet again. He wasn't going to question as to why he would give someone an alias, when that someone had already heard him being called by a different name. "Though I could be wrong. Strange though, as to why the newest addition to our little group wouldn't stay or find out the strengths of the people he worked with. Seeing as the next mission is a stealth one you won't be seeing much fighting." Raven stated to him. _________________ my epic work oh yea

His expression becoming hard at the mention of his name, Asuma simply stared at the man, not giving him a glare, but giving him a look that said he was close to something that was dangerous for him. Cid...the idiot. He knew that Asuma used an alias until his name was needed. Damned fool. There was a reason he didn't want his name to be known. "Cid..known not what he says. My name depends on who you talk to." Letting that little information out might hide his name. The more people knew about him, the harder it would get. Why...WHY did Cid have to go and say it. And now he was questioning his actions. Not smart. He wasn't about to tell him why, that was for sure. Though...it was starting to get annoying. Allowing a little bit of static to form around him, though it would be an invisible field, his bow start to move behind him, under his coat. He would use it if he had to. "I have my reasons." It was a simple statement, but also had a warning tone to it. Raven was getting close to something that Asuma went to great lengths to hide. He wasn't about to let it be discovered by someone who he had only seen. He wouldn't allow it. _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)

"Cid knows nothing eh? Then tell me how he has a dossier of everyone in this garden. I know Cid not to lie, but what every you say Archer," Raven wasn't getting fooled by this new guy. Something in the back of Raven's mind told him that the guy was hiding something form everyone, something that he didn't want to reveal and if it but his friend's life in danger Raven would have this person's life and would make sure his blood dripped from his blade. When Asuma let out his last statement, with the warning tone that Raven picked up, Raven's mind already went into an alert stage. He knew now for sure that Asuma was hiding something from them all. Raven's eyes then picked up the slight movement of his coat, and Raven's hand went to the grip of his gunblade and undid the strap that held it to his leg. He then brought his gunblade up and rested it on his shoulder. "Your hiding something, and i won't let what ever you are endanger my friends." _________________ my epic work oh yea

His face becoming calmer, Asuma moved the bow from his back, letting it fully take form. "You wish to see what I hide." Holding the bow in his left hand, Asuma quickly took an arrow from the quiver on his right thigh. Charging it heavily with his magic, it seemed to turn into a lightning bolt as it was shot, barreling into the wall right behind Raven. The wall in itself, had a large hole, the edges and the part that got hit charred jet lack from the magic. His face now showing an enraged frown, Asuma retrieved the arrow with his magic, as it slid back into his quiver. His bow, though, stayed out. "I train so that I don't lose control. Every time that I go to a new place, my magic must be re-calibrated to my surroundings. If not..." Moving closer, Asuma made sure that Raven got a look at his left eye. "...then it backfires on me." Giving him a disgusted look, Asuma turned around, walking a few steps. Suddenly, though, he turned around, electricity sparking all around him. "If you wish to threaten someone...I suggest you find someone of your own level." He was serious, now. If Raven pushed any further, he would not hesitate. Just saying this much to the man to make sure that he stopped asking questions was making him itch to do something. To make sure he kept quiet. The less people that knew of his fatal flaw the better. _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)

Raven seemed unphased by Asuma's electrical out charge of energy. The electric field's bolts was jumping to the blade of Raven's gunblade but the rubber pistol grip grounded any of the electricity that tried to enter Raven's body. "So your hiding the fact of your ability to send lightning through stuff and shit like that? Well now what are you afraid of eh? We have someone that talks to himself in this garden, maybe even worse," Raven said referring to Corenian when he spoke that last part of the statement. "My own level eh? Please, there is something worse out there than you that i need to take care of. I threat only to protect my friends," Raven said and then held his gunblade's point at Archer, turning to his side a little. "Now show me what you are made of, if you think i'm not on your level, then you are mistaken." _________________ my epic work oh yea

"Then I shall cut you down to size." As soon as Raven leveled his gunblade in his direction, Asuma's magic took hold of him, as he felt things start to go slower, at least, to him. The electrical impulses inside his brain had increased, more specifically, those going throughout his body. His sense of time was slowed, as every motion that was done seemed to be a frame by frame in a movie he was watching. Quickly, the impulses to his muscles increased, as he moved unhindered, and seemingly, in the same speed that he always was. Now, in fact, he was moving much quicker, blurring slightly with his movements. Asuma moved in a zigzag pattern, to make sure that even if Raven could level his gunblade at him, he couldn't fire a shot from the revolver implanted in the blade. While the blade itself would be most likely unhindered by his movements, he needed to get in close to do anything. Letting one of his arrows loose from his quiver, Asuma stabbed the arrow into the ground, as he moved sideways now, around Raven. Three more arrows were implanted around Raven's position, before Asuma did anything. Then, without pause, he jumped forward, his right hand flashing outwards, electricity going from one fingter to the next. The claw-like hand sliced through the air, ready to dlice through Raven's back, and then send a high jolt of electricity through him. He wasn't about tp play nice. Not now. _________________ (all dues go to Nick. You rock dude! ^_^)
