Fast, very fast Raven thought to himself trying to keep his eyes on Asuma but he lost track of where he was, yet he heard the stab of something metallic go into the ground and just followed that, which he could hear more get planted around his position. I wonder Raven thought to himself and then heard the footsteps stop and then quickly swung around, hold the flat of his blade out striking Asuma in the side with it, but he was also struck by Asuma's attack and felt a surge of electricity through his body that seemed to stun him for a couple of minutes.

Damn it Raven thought.

He then finally got control of his body again and jumped and turned to face Asuma. This was gonna be a fun time. Though Raven didn't like staying on the whole defensive side, but he wanted to see Asuma's power.

Taking the hit to his side, Asuma simply continued on, now grinning with anticipation. They were in his field now, something he had planned on the moment Raven had tried to threaten him. Not only were they surrounded by Asuma's arrows in the ground, but their purpose would lead to the quick end of the fight. For you see, since they were made entirely of metal, and very accustomed to Asuma's magic, they would work as lightningrods, that would be used to concentrate his magic on one spot. Right where he and Raven were at that very moment. Shoving one final arrow into the ground, Asuma left a current go from his right hand to the arrow in front of him, the first one he planted. The other three all absorbed the electricity as the charge went from one to all of them. And then, with a single flash, the one in the middle received it all.

"Strike." As the lightning tore through the area they stood in, Asuma of course, was unaffected. While he might receive some minor burns on parts of him that weren't accustomed to being shocked, Raven, if he stayed in the same place, would get a shock powerful enough to make him fly from one end of the room to the other. While the move took a second to do, it was flawless in it's power. It wouldn't kill if it hit Raven. No. He wasn't trying to kill him, not yet. Cid wouldn't be happy if he did that. He would sure give him the shock of his life, though.

"aaaaah!," Raven yelled out as the lightning field tore at him. He needed to get out of the affected area but his muscles just locked up from the electricity pouring through him. Move damn it, move or else you'll pass out from shock Raven told himself in his mind since he could not really speak out loud and he then forced himself to bend down a little and then he jumped back out of the lightning field.

"Damn you," Raven hissed at Asuma, his body was leaving of some steam where he got burnt by the electric bolts, but unbeknowned to Asuma, the burns were already healing and rabidly at that.

Raven then stood straight up and held his gunblade out vertically in front of his face and put his hand on the slide of the gun portion of the blade. He then closed his eyes and began to concentrate. If he was gonna throw out a trick like that, then so would Raven

"I'm just getting started." Standing there as the lightning ceased, Asuma just looked over at Raven, a cold expression on his face. And he was true to his word. As soon as he spoke, the arrows that were in the ground moved, as did the bow underneath his coat. Quickly taking shape, the bow and it's metallic string was charged with electricity as soon as the arrows touched the string. The current spread to the whole bow, as Asuma charged the bow even further. Pulling back the string with his field, Asuma let all five arrows fly loose from the bow, every single one of them charged with lightning.

All of them shot at a weird angle, and then curved, aimed at Raven so that it was drawn to any metal he had on him. The power that his electricity gave him was able to magnetize objects, and then cause said objects to fly until they found their metallic target. In this case, it was raven and all the metal he had, his gunblade included. Like he said...he was just getting started.

Raven quickly snapped open his eyes to see the arrows come at him, which they were coming exactly dead on to his chest because of his gunblade being out in front of him like it was. Though that move would do nothing because the image of Raven was just an after image. The arrows also seemed to be still in the air for a few seconds before falling to the ground, cut in three pieces.

The Raven appeard in front of Asuma, running at him, but then his frame seemed to stop in the running pose and slowly disappeared into the air and He then reappeared behind Asuma and the same thing happened when he got close. Raven then came at another angle, and again same thing happened. Raven's after images kept on coming at Asuma at every angle and disappearing. Raven designed this move to confuse opponents before striking.

Though all those things surrounding, and running at Asuma were just after images. The real Ravenw as above Asuma, his gunblade drawn back and a highly decorate pentacle seemed to be seperating the two. "Payback is a bitch," Raven said softly and then slammed his gunblade into the pentacle, the symbol seemed to shatter like glass before dispersing into the air, and a ball of energy was on the tip of the blade, and with the momentum of the fall Raven slammed his sword into the ground right behind asuma and pulled the trigger, triggering a massive explosion of magical energy right underneath Asuma's feet and in the surrounding area
