All the mgs got a high rating. My fav is mgs3 (havn't played much mgs4 yet).

MGS1 is really good, though I've only played a little bit of it

MGS2 is alright, but you spend almost the whole game playing as raiden (and in this one he looks like a woman).

MGS3 you play as big boss in the 60's (and in a jungle!) and I just love interrogating the enemy soldiers.

mgs4 i think passes the other games by far...
do you know the reason y they picked raiden as the main character...?
they realized tht the number of female gamers was increasing so they did like a survey... they found out the female population didnt want to play the whole game running around as an old man... so they picked raiden as the main character for the second1... in mgs4 raiden is such a badass...

really? I thought it was koz they wanted to use a character that thought of snake as their idol (or so I read on another site).

wel... if u watch the preview videos for the mgs4... i believe kojima talks about y they picked raiden... i mean if they wanted a character tht admired snake they could hve still done tht n a made a chracter similar to snake in actions n visuals... but they didnt.. the design for raiden is more of prince charming...

I'm dying to play MGS4, I got sucked in playing 2 & 3, #1 I couldn't beat cause they didn't have the 1st person, and I can't shoot anyone like that. T-T

But this game made me study. lol It's so sophisticated, it'd make Einstein scratch his head. lol

MGS 1 has a remake for the GC, it's pretty much the same as the original, but with better gfx & the engine of MGS2 (which includes the fps part).
