Anyone read any good books lately? I've read this series called "Island" and it's for a younger teenage audience, but I quite liked it. Now I'm reading "Dune" by Frank Herbert and it's pretty good so far!

Oh, and books they make you read in school DON'T COUNT! LOL

I haven't read Island for the longest time! I never read the last one, though.

I'm re-reading the last Harry Potter book now, and I've been reading Anne Rice for about fours years now. She's my favourite author!

lol Okay! My brother has it, so maybe I will.

She writes homo-erotic and horror. She's the author of the Vampire Chronicles. They're not that explicit, though. lol

Either The Odyssey (even if I can't spell it! lol), or The Vampire Lestat, but Anne Rice. I just love the way she writes.

The scenes aren't really explicit, and they only happen a few times.

You spelled that right actually. One of my favorite books was the Boxcar children series. I connected with those poor kids lol.

Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow are the best books out there!
