FFDiscussion
It's been just over 3 years since FFD opened, and it's been a close knit community, one which we've all been able to share our problems together, talk freely and discuss any kind of topic that we wanted, from Final Fantasy to problems with school.

Unfortunately, the decision was made to archive the board while it still had some minimal activity, rather than let spammers come and take over, which I think we will all agree on. Although there was the fair share of drama, people leaving and not much activity, the fact that we managed to keep it going until now is a statement to say that we weren't going to let it go down without trying our best to keep it open.

So after 3 years, 50000 posts and over 1000 topics later, with one of the best and closest communities on the web, FFDiscussion has closed on the 1st December 2010

So what are you all hyped for? what do you hope will be anounced?

for me, I'm interested in
Wii:
S & P2
High Voltage Software games
Red Steel 2
the new mario game that is still to be revealed

360:
MGS:R
Halo: Reach
Brutal Legend

I'm still waiting for Zelda Wii, but I doubt it'll happen at E3 (and very little detail about it this year).

I'll get the new footage of FF13 up soon.

other interesting things that I've seen so far:
Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid: Other M

What's surprised me so far are the 2 new MGS games. Didn't expect a direct sequel to mgs3 and I certainly didn't expect a spin-off. Metroid: Other M was also another surprise. Don't think anyone saw it coming.

Nah, didn't expect Metroid tbh. Especially the fact that it's being made by Tecmo (Or is it Team Ninja? I can't remember)

Yeah, i'm suprised about the two new mgs games. It was obvious there was going to be another one, Kojima can't keep away from the series even when he says it's his last one :p

It's being made by Team Ninja, which is apart of Tecmo.

There's too many games for me to keep up with @_@ My inbox on gt.com currently has 23 game updates.

Another game that kinda surprised me was Halo: Reach. To be honest, I think they're starting to milk the halo series.

They also released a developer's walkthrough of Gladiator A.D. XD. It's an uber violent game for Wii that doesn't have cell-shaded gfx Very Happy

I was so excited to see FF13 and 14! Maybe when 14 comes out I can convince my parents to let me buy it! I was also excited for Left 4 Dead 2, I just need a 360! lol

I agree with James--the Halo series seems overdone now. They want as much money as they can get for them. My brother was practically drooling over the demos of the Halo games they showed, and I just don't get it. Maybe it's because I'm not a big Halo fan, but I think it needs to end. So many people will kill me for saying that! >.<

I don't want the series to end, just for Microsoft to stop pushing out so many Halo games on 1 console.

Yeah, there's 2 games I'll buy once I've recovered from my binge buying next year (since most of the nintendo games I want are pretty much Q1 of next year).
