| I personally think that it's Spira hands down. It's the most realistic I suppose, and the scenery is mesmerizing. From the ruins to the beaches, the cities, the villages, and the open plains, and the mountain range, Spira has it all. Anyone care to weigh in on their thoughts? | |

| I've only played a small number of FF games, but Spira is first, followed by Ivalice (FF12). (Shouldn't this go into the Final Fantasy Compilitaion thread?) | |

| I think the world of FF12 (maybe not so realistic, but a lot of building-designs reminds me on our own ancient buildings ^.^) and then Spira ? | |

| Spira is the world I can remember most of the details and the little history here and there. | |

| I find that there's always some dramatic thing about certain worlds (Spira - religious fanatics, Ivalice - polotic fanatics) | |

| A Final Fantasy to make me forget all about the main character's bad choice of clothing and make me fall in love with it's world through it's story, game play, characters and their development, the magic, the summons, and all the things you can name of in a Final Fantasy, is defintely Hands Down to have the title as 'Best'.
It's not just their very attaching scenery designs but the memory that are put in each place that you walk pass as Tidus or Yuna. It's like they're talking to each other through time.
Each place, everyone of the characters made a memory with Tidus and Yuna and their story.
Some of these places was the first place that I got to see Rikku's 'Dark Knight' Outfit. Or her 'Machina Maw'. Or Yuna change into a 'Samurai'. Or maybe the first time I ever fought in a FFX battle with Auron. Or maybe he place reminds me of the first CG I ever saw Auron when he took his sleeve off and pulled out his Katana.
A good Final Fantasy can make me talk about it all night long... 250th.

| You're right. Spira's world is simply amazing. When someone needs ffx advice, they can describe the situation and you can visualize it.
I'll show you an example...
"I don't know what to do, I'm still stuck at the part where the party fell underwater near the temple."

| needs a bit more explaining then that. There is more than 1 temple, and there's 2 temples where you fall underneath the water (though one of them the lake is frozen). | |

| I guess it could be Baaj, but it's definitely Macalania because the party gets stuck under the lake. | |

| The world I liked the most was FF12's Ivalice... although as you may know the FF I liked the most was FF9... Of course, Spira is really a greatly designed world.
But my vote goes to Ivalice
