FFDiscussion
It's been just over 3 years since FFD opened, and it's been a close knit community, one which we've all been able to share our problems together, talk freely and discuss any kind of topic that we wanted, from Final Fantasy to problems with school.

Unfortunately, the decision was made to archive the board while it still had some minimal activity, rather than let spammers come and take over, which I think we will all agree on. Although there was the fair share of drama, people leaving and not much activity, the fact that we managed to keep it going until now is a statement to say that we weren't going to let it go down without trying our best to keep it open.

So after 3 years, 50000 posts and over 1000 topics later, with one of the best and closest communities on the web, FFDiscussion has closed on the 1st December 2010

This game is so nuts. I love it and I don't think there was anything wrong with the game other than the length and replay value.

Its got really mixed reviews though. Some people have given it 9 and 10/10 and others have given it 5/10... So i'm gonna rent it first and see whether i like it or not...

What are the grounds for a 5/10?

It's too short, single player is a bit crap (the other team mate often drags you into teh middle of the battlefield rather than out of it when you nearly die) and some other reasons i can't remember.

It seems to have got much better reviews on PS3 than 360 though.

Oh, well I've never played single player, and probably never would play it that way. It is too short, but I think the replay value is high because of the weapons alternative.

wel.. ive read reviews tht are all over the place... IGN gave it a decent review while GS gave a terrible1... n the reason for GS's low score is outrageous... the reviewer apparently didnt like the story... but i hear the co op n online is pretty sweet... i would get it but i need my money for other games...

The co op is what is really sick, but there is certainly less replay value than say halo. But this is definitely a must rent and beat with your friend type of game.

I played the demo a couple of days ago! Its pretty mint actually, may buy it. Especially since i'm at the end of Bully, and its impossible to complete (It freezes EVERY TIME at the last cutscene... and the sound cuts out for the last mission. I'm getting pretty sick of it actually...

i might rent it durin the summer... but i still cant believe they can give suck a biased review... n the review admitted to being biased because of the current affairs... n all the other war games dont touch on current issues...

did u know tht mgs 3 and 4 was altered largely due to current affairs... which i think is bull...
