FFDiscussion
It's been just over 3 years since FFD opened, and it's been a close knit community, one which we've all been able to share our problems together, talk freely and discuss any kind of topic that we wanted, from Final Fantasy to problems with school.

Unfortunately, the decision was made to archive the board while it still had some minimal activity, rather than let spammers come and take over, which I think we will all agree on. Although there was the fair share of drama, people leaving and not much activity, the fact that we managed to keep it going until now is a statement to say that we weren't going to let it go down without trying our best to keep it open.

So after 3 years, 50000 posts and over 1000 topics later, with one of the best and closest communities on the web, FFDiscussion has closed on the 1st December 2010

Like you used to be a better gamer than you are now? Like for me since I started college I have no time for games and I feel like I lost my "gamership"

Yall felt that?

Nope. I fell totally the opposite actually xD. Although i don't get as much time to play games (or come here as much as i'd like to anymore), i usually get to play a couple of times during the week not including weekends. I still think i'm a lot better though, at least i can actually beat people on DOA 4 online now... xD

I peaked at 17. Then I started to see games (besides ffx) as just games and didn't work on being perfect at them like i used to.

i've been declinging since.

I feel that games that I used to have trouble with, I have no trouble with at all.

However, I used to be a hell of a lot better at first person shooters. Must've been the single joy stick from Nintendo 64 that put me at an advantage.

In some games, being smarter messes me up.

Fight Night for instance. When i fight my baby brother, i try to use my superior boxing knowledge. But he just mashes buttons and whoops my ass. i guess sometimes the old methods are the best.

I don't try and perfect at games... unless its DMC, xD. Actually thats a lie. I usually complete games, try and see as much as i can, then i leave it for a while and go back to it if i get bored... i'm nowhere near as good as some people.

There's always room to be perfect! But, of course, this is coming from a semi-perfectionist.

My sis and I have been playing games ever since we were young. But I sorta know how you feel, losing the gamer's touch. At times, I'm just too busy cuz of college too
But I always gain it back Wink
