You can only be good with one style of fighting, no equalizing it, or great at all of it, ull learn to use other styles later in my rp tho)

Story
The land has entered a new era of leadership under President Goh, and the land is on the brink of civil war. The military under Goh has been stretching its power beyond its boundaries. The citizens were outraged, but were not in anystate to fight back. Goh had an easy run to claim the land under his totalitarian rule.
Vallenguard is dying, and noone is strong enough, nor brave enough to fight back against Goh.

Rules
1. No guns
2. No god modding, as always
3. Weapons include Chinese broadswords, Chinese Longswords, halberds, crescent blade polearms, spears, hand axes. Nothing more, nothing less. I will create instances for lengendary blades later, if u ask of course in a pm, but not till later in a pm.
4. The setting is in final fantasy 7 time, future, but not too distant future, so try to make ur character look that way.

Name: Kyo Dezameir

Hair color: BLonde with black tips fading into the blonde. is straight and shoulder length.

Clothing: Kyo wears an outfit that he made himself from the lightest material that he could find. He wears to black fingerless gloves and imbedded in the knuckles are metal studs to give more damage when he fights hand to hand. his shirt is a basic black shirt made from silk, yet the left arm is missing, while the right arm has a long, very loose sleeve to it. He also wears a black shoulder guard on his left shoulder, it shows the scars of battle very clearly as it is cracked but still holding strong. He wears a black, denim like material, pants that on the left side has belts on the middle of his thigh. His right leg is covered with a black veil. He has black boots that have steel toes to cause more damage when he executes his kicks.

Battle: Kyo wields a 6' bowstaff. It is made of a black metal and has silver ends. Also on it is decortive silver markings. He specilizes in attack opponets fro afar with it, yet in closer counters he is specialized in kics and shoulder thrusts to make distance between him and the opposing force. His battle stance is that he holds his bowstaff in a 45 degree angle in front of him, close to his body, this gives him the oppurinty to strike quickly in the mid section of an opponets body.

Bio: Kyo's child hood was not one of happiness. WHen he was at a young age he aquired a sickness that almost killed him and it caused his eyes to turn to the shade of purple they are now, instead of his normal blue eyes he had when he was born. Then when he reached the age of 5 both of his parents were killed by Goh's troops, for reasons he has yet to know of. Then the troops came after him, yet before they got to him they were killed by a man that would be come his tutor with a bowstaff. When he stayed with the man he actually lived a quite good life, but the man started to get sick and before too long passed away, yet before he did he handed down his bowstaff to Kyo. Kyo now seeks to find goh and get teh answer's to his parents death and avenge them.

Personality: Kyo is an outgoing and kind person. Yet when he gets into battles it seems he makes a complete 180 and is strict and forceful, even when he is pair up with others.

Name: Xarubbi (Za-roo-be)
Age: 17

Appearance:

Xarubbi is tall and skinny, with long black hair. He is always seen in his usual long white coat, that goes down three-fourths of his back. He wears long baggy white jeans, with long thin black straps going down his coat and jeans. They start at his arms, and wrap around his bicepts, and go down the sides of his waist, comming together at the connected part of his coat, the bottom, and then jets off to the sides and end halfway down his jeans. He always wears black shoes, and stands upright, seeming to think he is royalty.
Personality: Xarubbi is usually quiet and keeps to himself, with a blank look on his face. He hates letting others see what he's feeling, thinking that if he lets anyone see his feelings that its a weakness.
Fighting Style: Dual Katanas- Kohemi: He carries on blade, his right blade, facing forward, to attack, to attack, and his left, backwards, to defend off attacks. He usually only uses one blade, his left blade, because he doesnt like to use his full strength. When he only weilds his left blade, he keeps it backwards, to throw his opponent off balance while defending, and then brings it into a slash-like motion, trying to slice his opponent in half. When he weild two blades, he mainly uses his right, to attack, and gives up on defence, still able to use the left to defend. When he strikes, he mainly goes for the chest, trying to make a large gash down the persons chest, horizontally, trying to get a quick kill. If he uses both blades at once, he whips around, spinning like a tornado, or making scissor-like slash. His fighting style with his blades is usually suppression first, and then immobilization. He doesnt usually try to kill, but he will if he has to.
Childhood: He was born into a noble's house, growing up with his father, a Lord, and his mother, a Geisha, and his uncle, a swordsman. He would train with his Uncle day after day, learning the ways of a sword, and dual weapons, able to use his Uncle's creation style, the Kohemi. He would train with his father, in the ways of a politition and a Lord. This was his life until he turned 12 , when one day he came home to find his home ablaze, his father and mother gone, and his Uncle in front of the house, a long slash down his back,a nd various other slashes everywhere. He fell to kis knees, unbelieveing what had happened. He walked twoard his Uncle, in shock. His uncle looked over at him, one eye half open. Incredibly, he was still alive. He told Xarubbi that his father had come home one day to find his mother having an affair with annother from the manor. He killed his mother and the other, and burnt the house down. His Uncle tried to stop him, but his father was a better swordsman than he. He defeated him, burning the manor down. From that day on he vowed to find his father and kill him, for what he had done. He has wandered these past 5 years, training as a swordsman and has been a wanderer, going from village t village, city to city, never staying in one place long. He has heard stories from everywhere he has went, about his father passing through. to this day he still searches for him.

Appearance
After years of training Kenji is a very fit man. His body is strong and quick. He wears a grey tank top covered by a white dress shirt. The shirt is buttoned up and loose on him. Black baggy dress pants make it easy for him to kick and move quickly.

Personality
Kenji is a calm person. He is very patient with any problems, and is rarely the one to start a fight. When a fight does happen Kenji is focused and efficient. He cares only about his opponent, nothing more.

Fighting Style
Kenji fights with his fists and feet. His left hand in front of him, looser hand, ready for counters, and quick jabs. His right hand held back in a fist, ready for powerful punches and quick counters. His left foot leads the way for his body, used mainly for defense and quick knees. His right leg is used for powerful kicks and knees.

Childhood
Kenji and his brother were brought up in a dojo. Martial arts was their life, and they became the star pupils. One night fire came to their home, and everybody they loved died. Kenji's brother was the one to do it. Kenji fought his brother, but lost, leaving with a scar down his right arm from his brother's blade. He vowed never to use weapons again

Appearance: he wears clothe to optimize his speed, while the plateing on his boots allow powerful kicks if he feels he need some distance, his sword given to him from the dojo, his sensi senseing a hard road ahead of him, his pendant given to him by his sensi's wife as a reminder that there are good people in the world no matter how some or many may treat you. he wears an arm guard because well it protects his arm, he wears the symbol of his dojo on his( sorry didn't know what top call it XD)


personality:serious, careing, but merceless in battle, he spares you nothing

Fighting Style:he uses his swiftness in battle, holding his sword close to his body for faster defence so that he may parry the blow and send a swift counter straight away


Childhood: Koduo know nothing of his family, for he was sent to a dojo as a baby to grow and learn there the style of fighting with a broad sword, his sensi became like his father and his peers his brothers, upon finishing his training he left with nothing but the cloths on his back his sword and little money, to find his family with nothing to go on but ihs last name.

Height: (don't know this scale lol so let's just say she's not tall XD)
Weight: (neither here I can say much XD umm skinny XD)

Hair Color: Brown with red highlights

Appearance: Mia is small girl with long brown hair, straight and waist long. Se wears long green dress with long cuts on her both legs. In this dress she looks taller than she is and black heels make her even taller.

Personality: Mia is kind girl that likes to help other when they need it. She is also really clumsy what some people would call her cute for this reason. She doesn't like getting hurt.

Fighting Style: Her weapon are her legs. She has strong kicks even if no one really believes her before seeing her fight. Knowlege of ballet makes her even more dangerous eopponent since she can avoid others attacs.

Childhood: Her parents died when she was a baby, so all her life she lived with one old man that took good care of her and was for her like grandfather. He gave her name and home and started teaching her how to fight. He was too soft though so she had to train alone sometimes. When she found him dead in the forest they were always training she promised to find the people that killed him. She was training even harder now.

the martial artists are gonna be the people that oppose goh in the rp if i am not mistaken...

All the Martial Artists are not amazing, they get there as time goes, but All of them have a past that led them to hate Goh, to hate his rule, and they fight against him. If u want a reference, then think of AVALANCH vs ShinRa

Appearance: Wears a light white shirt and trousers with black robes on top. His hair is swept over his eyes, and he is caucasion (WHATEVER), While his muscles stand out, he isn't over muscly.

Personality: Not shy to make friends, so he has quite a bouncy personality, but will hate people with a vengance if they become his enemy

Fighting Style: Fights hand to hand in a kung fu stance, one hand flat out in front of him (face up) while the other is by his side facing outwards.

Childhood: (OK so i tried to think of something, but came up with nada, so i most certianly will edit this sometime in the future. Besides, i'm tired so i'm just gonna put this for the moment) Ricky's parents were killed by soldiers of Goh that were drunk. Ricky = pissed. Goes and learns how to fight from wise old men and learns mucho fighting skills. xD (See, i told ya it would be crap)
