"Wow, if this place isn't filled entertainment I don't know what is!" Talia laughed then turned to Yumiiko. "You seem nice, what's your name?" She asked sitting cross leged on the table in an attempt to be friendly. "Oh and you too." She called out to the guy standing off by the doors.

*Yumiiko snaps out of the trance with the chair*

"Oh, uh, Yumiiko Suzumi." *Yumiiko extends her hand* ^_^

"Nice to meet you to!" She smiled crookedly shaking her hand before jumping off the table and walked over to the guy in armor and the panicky girl. "You two have names?" She asked then eyed the ribbon. "What's that for?"

Ialdo walked thorugh the city towards the palace, accompanied by two guards. He felt vunerable out in the open, he preferred to be up on the rooftops where people couldn't see him, and if they did, away in a flash. He sighed as they carried on walking. It had been a good ten minutes since he'd been accompanied and he was getting bored. Eventually, they reached the palace and Ialdo saw the commotion outside.

"I'll walk alone from here" he said to the guards and carried on. He entered the palace, unchallenged by the guards. (Sorry for the short postm have to go now... ciao)

Shinu laughed and bent down a bit to whisper into the girl's ear.

I can see you weren't chosen, but you're going to have to pretend that you were so that you can stay out of trouble. I don't want you to get hurt, so just pretend like you can fight and stick by me. It's nice to meet you Kai, I don't have a nick name, just Shinu.

He looked back up to see that the other girl seemed to be the one making the effort to get to know everyone. She seemed genuinely friendly, a good sight for Shinu.

Hi, you can call me Shinu. This ribbon is here to make sure that Kai here stays out of trouble while in the presence of the King himself. Once we're out of here I'll untie it. What is your name miss?

"Shinu, eh? Hmm..." She thought then smiled brightly. "Names Talia. Nice to meet ya Shinu." Talia looked at the girl. "Don't look so scared. Those stuffy old servants wont dare lay a hand on a guest." She said eyeing one who gave her a pissed frown.

"oh im not scared of them.. im scared of debt" she said and smiled

"well... i'm more of a lover than a fighter" she said but obviouslu by the way she slapped the guy and her hostile mood swings that wasnt true

"but i guess i could pretend!" she said and giggled then looked down at the ribbon
she fiddled with it and turned it into a bow

"there now its pretty" she said and smiled "i like that name too...shinu and talia... so pretty... im just plain old kai" she said and shrugged

". . ."

Without warning, the lights in the chamber began to dim, and the sunlight streaming through the windows began to fade, until all was black. As quickly as it had come, the blackness vanished, and all was as it had been...

"So all who would come are here. Brave you are to walk this path. But know this: Do not take this journey lightly. You gamble with the lives of many in your steps."

An imposing figure stood behind the right shoulder of the king, shrouded in shadow still. He was clad in hempen robes that gathered about his feet, and were held closed by a brooch about his throat wrought in the design of en emerald oak leaf. His hood was pulled low over his head, and threw all his face into deeper shadow. Only his hands were exposed, long-fingered pale.

*Yumiiko was almost repulsed by the man's dark and creepy outlook, but was astounded by his neat trick* "That was cool." O.O

Nice to meet you Talia, that's a very nice name.

Shinu started to smile, and almost laughed when he looked down at his arm and there was a very cute bow made. He found that quite funny that she took the time to make the appearance better on something that was already functional, but didn't get too much time to think it over.

Suddenly the lights went off and Shinu hurriedly grabbed his sword, but didn't draw it because the lights came back on really quickly. He was a bit wary of the man behind the king, but he was not sure of what it was, his hand remained on the hilt.

A small gasp of air came out of the king as he felt a chill come down his spine after feeling a presence over his shoulder. He knew of who was to come, and should have been ready, considering he knew what he was asking for. When he heard the voice however, he was a bit more relieved, and just glad that things could finally get underway. He stepped forward, and addressed the group.

He is right! This will not be an easy journey, nor a fun one. You all could be our final chance at salvation from the ever rising dark rise to power of the great wizard Deuce Baaj of Mortair. I am afraid that should my time here end, there will be none left that could assemble a group such as this to conquer Baaj and bring peace back to our world and bring the glory back to Palamir. If you are successful, we will then be able to restore our world to what it once was and bring prosperity to all. Should you fail however, I'm afraid that Deuce Baaj will soon completely take over the world. You seven are our last hope, and I wish you all of the best.

There was no doubt about it, Shinu was incredibly motivated after the King's message, and was anxious to get going. He was a bit concerned with how this group would get along, but that was not their goal, killing the wizard was, and that would be his priority over all else.

Well then, shall we get started?
