I understand that Vallenguard was made recently, but i have had a 2nd rp on my mind, one that in my mind will surpass Vallenguard. This is what i have decided upon so far for setting and such.

The story will take place in a world that has been industrialized. Guns, cars, trains and electricly controlled ships have taken the world by storm. The world is separated into 3 major continents and dozens of smaller islands with their own separate government. Two thirds of the population are under the rule of the republic of (will add name when i think of it), while the final third belongs to the final Empire.

The empire's king has fallen deathly ill and lays bed ridden as his eldest has taken command of the kingdom. His two brothers assist him in the affairs of their nation but there is something more going on behind the scenes. The king's illness was incredibly sudden and his condition is getting weaker by the day. To make things worse, his body is taking no affect to his antibiotics.

The republic has been contemplating action against the Empire to their east. The republic wishes to unite the empire with it, making the republic a true unstoppable force. The members of senate have been debating on how they should move to take action. To go to war would create uproar between the other small settlements all around them. But with the empire's ruler bed ridden now would be the best time to take such forceful action.


Characters
Any weapon can be used if you can think of it. If it is not in the list below, pm me your idea for a wpn b4 you decide on it.
- Weapons - Guns, Swords, Axes, Spears, Daggers, Staves, Gauntlets (claws), Maces, Spells*, Whips, Fists
*Note* ONLY spellcasters may use spells. However to use spells is to have a lower skill in any weapon
Characters will not be given "special powers" but instead have an incredible amount of skill with their wpn and a set of skill based proffesions (cooking, engineer, etc)
There will only be one race, obviously its Human. But you will be given a choice of where you were born, and the terain that you create for your "home" will affect your character

Question, would you prefer i made classes to make things even easier? also would u like to use spells and melee attacks as well?

Classes like in Final Fantasy: knight, white mage, etc? It probably would be easier, just so others would know exactly what you specialize in, like fighting or magic. I like the idea of spells and melee attack being used, as well.

Ok shouldnt be too hard to create a few. Im gonna set up a set of skills as well, but a "limit break" i suppose can be urs to create. I will be creating spellcaster warrior type classes. And i will post a list of classes tomorrow or tonight

I'm still undecided on this one. I'll check back in a couple of days and I should have my decision by then.

i agree wth james, vallengaurd is still new, if this one opens up and becomes better then vallen then vallen will most proberly die without even taking off. it does sound a good idea tho i wll admit.

HOnestly this one kinda reminds me of that new anime that had just come out... what was its name... ah yes Senjou no valkaryia. As for me, i believe that a whole class and limit break system is wel... a lil over complicating. That said weapon proficiency is something that cannot be measured and may mean different things to different people. The skill based professions are a nice touch though i have to admit though i think for the most part, you should just tweak the vallenguard profile skeleton for this one.
One more thing, is having a pair of twins for my charcter out of the question? I mean i don't mind if they have to be weaker than everyone else when alone but i really want a pair of twins ^.^
