Corenian cursed himself for his carelessness, as if it wasn't bad enough that his training the last time was interrupted when he tried to help out when he heard a scream which was help that was unrequired since the person was a summoner... now he had lost his training manual(book) somewhere in the training area which was so vast even Fia wasn't of much help. Retracing the path he had taken then, he soon found himself back at the spot where he had been training, obvious due to the many indented and malformed trees which had been victims of his training. Searching the area, he began to lose hope that the book was in the area of that it was still in one piece.
"Corenian! OVer here, I found something," Fia's voice chirped from a slight distance away.
Jogging over, Corenian was startled to see a trail of small scraps leading away. Just as he was about to inspect it, he felt something, a faint but distinct intent to kill. However, by the time he could make it out, he found himself totally surrounded by a mixture of grats and bats.
Bracing himself, Corenian raised his knuckle dusters in a fighting stance, waiting for them to make the move. Nodding to Fia, she immeditaely floated into the air, ready to give him a bird's eye overview but he knew that it wasn't enough, he was hopelessly outnumbered.

kairi came leaping out of the trail nearly smacking into corenian

"oh thank god!" she said looking at him then at the bat that had been chasing her

"im lost and their are to many of these things for one person" she said

her pack on her hip was stuffed filled with herbs

"how was i suppose to know that the best herbs were in a danger zone?" she mumbled to herself and looked over at corenian

"well, im at least happy to see someones familiar face" she said and put her knuckles up

"Hmm, Kairi? Of all places... well its nice to see someone familiar at a point like this but I'm afraid that even with two- fine two people and one spirit alright Fia?... Anyway this numbers still don't look favourable to us," he gasped, dodging the flurry of attacks from the overwhelming number of grats before finally managing to hammer one over what seemed like a head to him, puncturing a whole and causing strange juices to fly out as it struggled to keep itself upriight before finally fainting soon after.

"oh god im going to throw up" she said and covered her mouth

"o-ok i can do this" she said and shook out her hands then pulled them up green flamming stars appearing in her hands and she threw them into a few bats as they fell limps falling off

Kira was out training again, he was working on using his new sword, which he had brought the day before, with his old one. He was trying to get used to the feeling of using two large swords instead just his one. He had always liked the feeling of the one sword in both of his hands, letting him swing it with a lot more speed and strength then he could with just the one. As he trained he could hear some some people talking and pounding, but he didn't really pay to much attention to this. Kira took a rest leaning up a tree next to the stream again, which was almost feeling like his favourite place to go when he needed a timeout. He looked over to the area where he heard the talking come from and noticed a swarm of bats, which where being hit by the occassional green star.

Kira got up and placed both swords on his back, the left one over the right. When Kira drew his weapons he noticed that he was slower with his left draw then his right, so to speed it up he decided to always draw his left hand sword before the right. Walking over to the voices he had to enter a few wooded areas and alot of bushes. He hated the bushes in this place, they always cut his clothes, and he always had to throw away his jeans. He stumbled throw the last few bushes and fell over into a clearing, which Kairi and Corenian where standing, surrounded by quite the number of monsters.

Hey guys, whats up?

"oh hey kira. you know, just hanging out" she said and rolled her eyes throwing another 5 stars hitting a bunch more bats

when she turned again to kira a grat knocked her over and into a tree

she let out a painful yelp and she stood back up only to see she was not covered with the bats

she punched and kicked the air only getting a few of them but she could feel her skin burning with fresh wounds

A sudden cloud of smoke surrounded Kairi which was followed by the sound of cracking bones and tearing flesh and when it subsided, some of the enemies around her had been torn apart, their fresh blood sinking into Corenian's clothes.
"Watch yourself, have you already forgotten what I said during training, ah nevermind, it's a good thing I have an extra pair of eyes helping me watch from the skies," he laughed, tossing needles randomly at the monsters as he reached out to Kairi with his other hand.

kairi grabbed onto his hand pulling herself away from the bats and blinked

"im sorry corenian." she said and felt herself shaking slightly and felt very foolish

"did...did i mention this is my first real battle?" she said and shook her head to stop herself from shaking anymore

"ah ok kairi pull yourself together" she mumbled and with her free hand threw a star slicing the head off of a bat

she just kept throwing them and nearly all of them hit something

"ah very kira!" kairi said and put her hand down on the ground and when she pulled it up there was a long strand of green energy in her hand that soon turned into a few larger looking stars and when she threw then she spun to give them more speed

when they hit the grat it exploded under its skin making flesh and nasty liquid splatter all about

"i dont know if i can make a sword yet..." kairi said and blinked "stars are smaller i think thats all i can manage with my level." she said and shook her hand them filling with stars. she threw them into the grat she had been attacking it falling to the floor and she kept throwing stars into it and then she turned spinning leaping over a grat that had come up behind her and she sliced the stars down it then turned on her toes and slit its throat and jumped back panting

"ah..." she said rolling her shoulder

"this actually gets pretty fun after a while" she said and she balled her fists and started beating the crap out of a grat smiling as she punched it in the face and with a flash of green in her fist the back of the grat exploded and she snickered as it fell to the floor before turning to the others

"i will have to do this more often!" she laughed her bangs falling into her eyes
