PostSubject: A clue to the Missing[Raven and Kira]   Mon Jun 15, 2009 9:21 pm

It had been eight months since Shinu had left the garden and everyone behind. And in that whole time fo Raven trying to figure out the reason why he left, Raven had not found a single thing. Raven couldn't believe that he hadn't found a thing and ever since he had been going to the monster range to blow off some steam. He was there again, and had been there for quite some time this time. He had missed his classes but didn't care he was one of the ace students, so he needed a break anyways.

"Damn you shinu, when i find you, you are gonna be in pain," Raven said to himself, resting up against a tree. His gunblade was stabbed into the ground next to him. There were cuts on Raven's body, but he didn't care as they would heal up on their own in a few seconds.

"I need to find something. There has to be something! He wouldn't leave us for no reason, i know shinu well enough!" Raven said and picked up his gunblade and turned around and hacked the tree he was resting with in half, watching it as it slid off and fell back.

Kira heard the tree as it slammed into the ground and a dust cloud rose from where it hit the ground. "Nice way to get yourself some attention" Kira thought. Not knowing who was over there he made his way to where the tree fell, slicing a grat in halve with a back ward swing of his right sword. Climbing through the growth and bushes, he saw Raven with his gunblade drawn facing the tree. Dust and dirt was still in the air, giving the area an effect of a small sandstorm.

So then what did that tree do to you?

"Nothing, it was just the closest thing around at the Moment"

Raven said and the turned around to face Kira. His cuts weren't fully healed so Kira could tell that Raven had been in here training. Though he was really in here to vent out some anger and frustration that was stored.

"Came in here for some training I suppose?"

Raven asked him.

Well you know me, this is the place i spend most of my time. And it just so happens that the place i choose to train is only a few metres from here.

Kira stabbed both of his swords together in the ground before sitting down to lean up against them.

I even camp here on some nights. Keeping warm isn't a problem for me.

Kira lifted his left arm and called a fire ball into his hand to show Raven what he ment before recalling back into his body to conserve the energy.

"Well your lucky to have that magic then. I bet it does come in handy."

Raven said and sat down on the now new tree stump that he made.

"I see that u decided to train with two swords now, not that bad of a choice, though i bet it is stressful to swing in ways that u can move both arms freely without cutting your self."

Raven wasn't gonna move off of his gunblade, that was his weapon of choice and his only weapon of choice.

Yeah, on the second mission my right arm got injured remember? Well i needed to boost my defencive power and this is what i came up with. I know how attached you are to your gunblade but i doubt even if you had to move off it you wouldn't.

"Nope that I would not. The gunblade is the weapon that i can count on to protect me and to attack for me. It is almost as if it was an extention of my soul. I can feel its power and everything about it."

Raven looked down at his blade and turned it around.

"This one is about to retire soon though, I'm getting a new one made in Balamb with some of the money that i got form my parents death. Stronger and more powerful but will never hold the same meaning."

Sentimental value and all that? I would recommend using the same matieral this guys are made out of. Been in countless fights and never had to sharpen it.

Kira looked over to Raven, who was examing the gunblade. He knew of the value that Raven held to it and just how important it was to him. Getting a replacement was a big step for him, never mind switching to a different fighting stlye.

"Yea I found a good material, expensive, but my parents were archelogists so i got the money that they made. But i figured that my dad's gunblade should be memorabilia instead of a weapon. I think his spirit would like that."

he said and sighed a little. The guy at the shop said that it would be ready in a few days. So untill then he had to use his fathers sword. "The Hyperion will rest. I have also learned and studied something different that will give me an edge to battles, i figured i might as well learn a secondary skill."

Oh is that so? What secondary skill are we dicussing?

Kira was really puzzled by Raven learning a new skill. He had always thought of Raven to be the kind of guy that didn't bother with that, just focus on the one kind of skill and master it into the extremes.
