Shinu looked at the limp body sprawled out across Corenian's shoulders. His mind was racing at a frantic rate. The others seemed so calm, a little banged up, but calm none the less.

We'll bring him back to the Garden. But not to Cid! I know Cid won't let us get information out of him, so I'll do it myself. We need to get back to the Garden as soon as we can. All of you will see Cid and I will get what I can out of him and then report it to Cid.

He looked everyone in the eyes one at a time, seeing mixed emotions, not too surprisingly. Everyone seemed to be stuck in place under the sheets of rain as if they couldn't move anymore.

Let's go. Everything will be ok. I will make sure none of you get in trouble. You all did an admirable thing not leaving me behind to fight alone. We have to go now, and I promise I will be the only one to take the hit.

Shinu walked over and rubbed Nioelle on her cheek. She'd done well to keep herself together, but he felt that next time they should probably stay together more. He lifted her up onto her feet from under her arm and gave her a bis smile.

Hey, we all have learning to do, I think you did well. Let's go home Nini.

Kira stood up, pushing himself up with the sword in his left hand, his right arm dangling at his side from when the blade cut through his muscle. Trying not to fall over he leant his body on the sword, while Faina was holding on to him. He couldn't hug her back, as he could not use his right arm and his left was holding onto the sword. All he could do was rest his head on Faina's right shoulder, and tell her not to be worried about him.

Faina im fine, really. All it is, is a flesh wound. It can be healed when we get back to the garden.

Kira was now really wishing he had two swords instead of the one. If he had the two his arm may not be in the condition that it was in. Looking over to see Kryst and Lucien. He moved his head in a motion telling them to come over to where he was, he wanted to se wether any one of them had gotten hurt durung the battle. If anyone of them got hurt, it was going to be his fault as group leader. Everyone of them where his responsability and therefore he needed to protect each and everyone on of them. He knew Lucien was a long range fighter, but Kryst was unknown to him.

Shinu had just gave them all an order to move back to the garden, so he done what he could to walk over to Kryst and lucien, they would be heading home as a group not as individuals. With Faina on his right hand side and using the sword as a walking stick he started to head down the trail with the rest of the group.

Nioelle smiled, but it wasn't her usual cheerful smile. This one was full of sadness and regret.

I'm sorry, Shinu. I should have tried to do more.

She shook her head, realizing pitying herself wasn't going to get her anywhere. She took a deep breath, and joined the group in going backt to Garden.

kairi cracked her knuckled and walked over to kira

"hey." she said and touched his shoulder

wincing herself the blue light covered his wounds and filled them in

"best i can do" she mumbled pulling her hand away from him rubbing it

"good job you guys" she smiled brightly and then turned walking towards the garden as the orders had been given rubbing her soar palms and shoulder

Shinu wrapped his arm around Nioelle when they hit the bottom of the mountain, finally concluding their quiet descent. He looked at her while he continued to walk back.

You know, you really did do alright. You risked your neck not leaving when Erk gave the orders. Everyone did, I'm very proud.

He gave her another smile, knowing it probably wouldn't work but he cared so much he had to try anyways.

Lucien walked over to Kira, holstering his guns. He had a slight look of annoyance from missing his target twice in a row.

"I'm fine. No injuries." Lucien said as he shook his arm, trying to making it feel better from the recoil effect his gun had caused.

Walking closer to Shinu, Corenian whispered to him, "do I have permission to help in the interrogation, I have ways I think may work... either way we also need to find somewhere to hide the body."

I'm sorry Corenian, I know you want to help, but I've gotten everyone in enough trouble for one day. I'll see to it this gets taken care of.

A little bit of moisture was close to filling Shinu's eyes as he fought back all emotions on the way back to the Garden.

Kira winced when Kira healed his arm. Although the blood had stopped and the wound had disappearing, the skin looked like it wasn't even there. No scar, no red marks. Nothing, but try as he might Kira still couldn't move his arm. "Must be some sort of poison on the weapons." Kira let go off his sword and walked towards the nearest sword used by the enemy. "Looks like Kairi's healing has done something, i can walked without support now. Must of been the blood loss." He thought while picking up the blade. Looking over to Lucien who had just given his status report, Kira nodded at him. He had managed to evade injury. Kira's confidence was dropping. He had been hurt on two missions in a row and this time around he was one of the few who had gotten injured.

Kairi thanks for healing me.

Kira walked over to where Lucien, Kairi, Faina and the newcomer stood. Kira had to drop the sword he had picked up and picked up his own blade from the floor and attaching it to his back, picking the sword back up, Kira shouted over to Shinu about the weapon what he believed was poisoned. Kira wanted to know why this weapon somehow managed to make his arm inoperable even though Kairi had healed it.

Shinu, can we test this weapon for poisons? Kairi just healed my arm but i still can'y move it.

Shinu turned quickly to look at Kira. A poisonous sword was unfamiliar to him, but the chemistry was not.

I think I should be able to help. After we meet with Cid maybe we can go to the lab if we're not in too much trouble.

His words were a little more staggered than usual. His confident tone had left him, and his reassuring presence seemed to have vanished from him. Shinu was a shell of himself right now, and he was trying with all of his heart not to let it show.
