Nia was walking slowly behind Raven when someone bumped on her shoulder. When she turned to see who it was she heard Crysta's voice and saw evil grin on her face. No, that girl was getting seriously on her nerves. Nia tightened her fists and looked at Crysta's back. What was she even doing here? She wasn't on the mission with them! She wasn't punished. She looked around at who else was coming, she smiled and looked over at Kira and Faina. They looked so nice together, she already forgot about Crysta and her bad manners. Nia looked in front of her again wondering how long they will still be walking.

"Well, looks like it has begun," he sighed, picking himself up as he waved to John, "well, may we meet somewhere in the garden after this, preferably in the sparring room, I wanna see how much better you've got."
With that he walked over to the floor where he started observing the old and now wounded man. What had caused that, he knew not but curiousity would not let it end there.

Johnathan got up, interested by Corenian's challenge, but for now that would have to wait. He followed the class, looking out any windows they walked by

Nioelle walked silently with the rest of the group, wondering what had happened to Erk. Not that she really cared, she was just curious. And she was looking for something to make her mind wander. She, like most of the others, she concluded from observing them, did not want to be here. She couldn't care less about the class, really, and had no intention of becoming the leader of anything, she just wanted to hone her magic skills and leave the garden, and live a peaceful life in Winhill.

Walking over to where everyone was, Lucien stood next to Corenian and nudged him.

"I bet the old zombie made that scream we heard the other night. Maybe he went looking for the body." He whispered to Corenian.

"Could be, well who knows but that was one heck of a scream, I'm not sure if someone that old can scream that loud," he joked, surveying the place for any hint as to what they maybe doing.

Sighing, Archer simply sat there, as Erk talked to all of them. It was pointless, being there. The one who had been 'leading' them had left, and what were they doing now, trying to find another one? Simple minded fools. There would always be those who would take up a leadership role the first chance they got, it didn't mean, though, that they were meant to lead. A leader was someone who was chosen in the midst of a battle, who suddenly takes control of a situation and makes it right. Simply sitting around in a class would do nothing of the sort. However...he wasn't content with just sitting there, either. Pushing himself to his feet, Archer followed behind everyone as they walked forward, his rubber boots smacking against the marble floor as he walked. Clicking the fingers of his metallic gloves together, Archer simply stared forward at Erk, wondering what they were about to do. Since they were given no inclination, it was all left up to Erk to decide.

This would be interesting, to say the least.

Once everyone had arrived down onto the hall
floor, Erk nodded, and then turned around. Beckoning them to follow
with his hand, he departed out the door of the classroom. As he walked
down the hall, students following, he began to speak to them, not
turning around.

"Tell me, one of you: what is a leader? We all
speak of them rather often, but I've yet to hear one of you explain to
me what it is. Anyone care to enlighten me?" They were passing by the
library, and Erk seemed to be headed for the doors at the end of the
wing that led into the garden.

Corenian furrowed his brows, thinking what this man had in store for them with such a question

"He is the one who is in charge put simply enough am I right? If you're asking what makes a leader then it's a different story," he replied, trying to pick his words as carefully as possible

Faina rolled her eyes.

A leader is someone that everyone follows. A leader is a natural when it comes to making the RIGHT decision- not the easy one. Everyone looks up to a leader and they trust him or her. They show us what we need to do to be better people and to help.
