A frantic young freshman stumbled into the lobby.

Sporatically he began tossing out fliers and handing them to everyone before jumping back on top of a table.

Your event committee has just declared the first ever formal ball right here at Balamb Garden. It is a tribute to the success of the first ever Balamb Garden Mission! There will be a grand ball and everyone will be there! Grab a date quick! The ball is at 9pm two days from now! Please see the head of the event committee, her name is Selphie! (lol)

He jumped off and threw the rest of the fliers in the air, spreading them about. Just as he ran out, Shinu walked in. He picked up a flier and skimmed it over. He could only think of one person... Still, he wondered what the others would think. Shinu personally loved this idea. He was happy the mission was successful, and he LOVED getting dressed into formal wear.

Nioelle walked over curiously to a piece of paper. She only got the tail-end of the speech, and wanted to know what was going on.

When she read the paper, her eyes brighten up. She smiled, and looked over to where Shinu was standing.

kairi blinked walking in and grabbing the flyer and leaning up against the wall. with a small smile but her eyes were not so happy.

'ive never been to a ball before.. or any type of formal dancing party.' she thought and sighed

'maybe... maybe i should sit this one out...' she thought but couldnt bring herself to let go fo the paper

Raven was in the main hall listening to it all. He then sighed and leaned up against a wall looking out.

"Well, my luck is shot down with the whole...date thing," Raven said to himself.

He actually did want to go to this ball thing but alone, yea that was a not.

"I mean we were the ones who did it, it wouldn't be right if we didn't show up."

kairi blinked turing to see raven leaning up against a doorway not far from her and she blinked walking over

"are you feeling better... from the other night..." she said still feeling bad over the situation

"Whats in the past is in the past, but yes I am, wounds and stuff are fully healed. Though u need to be more careful yourself, even under extreme pressure like that. Its not cool pushing someone around that got blown up by a bomb, the creature not item," Raven said to her with a soft sigh closing his eyes.

"i understand now. im sorry. maybe some day we can be friends..." she said and thought that was a bit of a stretch seeing as how he didnt seem to like her that much. or at least he was giving off that vib that made her get a little tense around him

THroughout the speech Corenian had been asleep on a nearby bench, only to be rudely awaken by a drifting flier which he picked up and read.
"Oooo, whats this, a ball? that sounds interesting, hey Corenian, lets go, it sounds like quite an interesting party to be at," the spirit giggled, looking down the rest of the flier.
"B-but there are going to be alot of people there, and i'm not good with large crowds I a-also don't want to have to dress formally, i prefer waering this trenchcoat and and all and-"
"Oh enough excuses... well i guess i can't go with you since it would seem wierd talking to yourself in a large crowd i guess."
"This is tough..." Corenian sighed as he slumped back into the bench. unsure of what to do

"Perhaps we can be, who knows, only time," Raven said to her and then bent over and picked up on of the flyers. "Now time to find..a date, if that is even possible at all," Raven said out loud on accident.

kairi felt herself blinked at this statement and she turned slowly looking at him with a 'what the heck was that' look that mad eher lips quiver trying to hold in a giggle

"well..your rather bold arent you?" she said
