Oh hi Nioelle! I was just about to go see if I could find you.

He greeted her with a smile and a warm hug, even picking her up off of the ground a bit.

Whoops, I forget my strength sometimes. Anyways, this ball sounds like a lot of fun. I think I have a girl in mind who I would LOVE to take... ah who am I kidding? Would you like to go the ball with me Nioelle?

Nioelle smiled and nodded.

I'd love to go with you, Shinu!

She was almost too giddy in her response.

That's so great! We're going to have a lot of fun. But... what are we going to wear?

Shinu put his thinking cap on for sure.

I have an idea!

Nia walked to the room and looked around wondering why everybody is so excited and walked to the guy that was closer to her, he seemed to know what was going on. She smiled at Raven softly.

"Umm hello, I am kind of new here and I was wondering... Maybe you know what is going on? Everybody seems so excited."

Raven looked at the Girl that spoke to him and he couldn't help but to stare a little. He then shook his head quickly "Hmm sorry about that. But yes, they happened to be excited because of a ball that is going to be held because of the first successful mission of Balamb Garden," he told her and picked up another flyer of the ground and held it out for her.

"Oh my name is Raven, one of the members of the first team," he said introducing himself to her.

The girl smiled at Raven and shook his hand.

"My name is Nia, I am new here actually"

Nia read the flyer and rolled her eyes. She just came to this school and didn't know anyone and now she was supposed to find a date for the ball.

"Oh great, I don't know anyone here yet..."

She would sit next to him looking at the flyer

"... Well, except you, but I bet you got a date for the ball already."

He couldn't help but to laugh a little at the comment.

"Me having a date to go somewhere, thats a laugh," he said to her

He then sighed.

"Would you like to go with me Nia," he said looking over at her.

Nia smiled and shook her head softly.

"Really, you say that it's impossible, but there you are going on a ball with me."

She giggled and smiled brightly at Raven. She was glad she already met someone that she was hoping would become a really good friend.

He couldn't help but to smile and laugh.

"Guess you proved that statement wrong then," he said to her

"Though i must admit this would be a first, me ever asking someone else."

"There always has to be the first time, and you shouldn't be that shy Raven, I know what I'm saying"

She smiled and stood up fixing her uniform.

"Well, time for me to go, I still have to go to my dorm."

Nia walked out of the room.
