"You sure there's anything this way?" Lucien asked as he peered around the corner to see if anyone was there.

Corenian and Lucien decided to go check out who was the cause of the scream they heard earlier on, but had gotten sidetracked and were now interested in finding any clues as to why Shinu left. So far all they had found was a scrunched up piece of paper with a number on it. Lucien was adamant that it was Shinu's handwriting and wanted to go check out the room, but the paper did not say which part of the academy the room was in.

"Ok, so we've checked the dorms, nothing there. How about just down the hall a bit more? I'm sure there's a room 29 down there." Lucien said, checking his surroundings for any signs of evidence.

"Ah-ha! There, on the floor! there seems to be some sort of long object sticking out from underneath that door!" Lucien yelled in excitement.

Corenian tugged at the detective like hat he was wearing, bending down to reach for the strange object, easily dislodging it from its position though causing a slight scrape to the door in the process.
"Indeed, something was there, but what is this? I don't recall having seen anything like this from my time in the mountain," he remarked intriguely, holding it in a gloved right hand while tugging his trenchcoat tighter with the other, feeling like those detectives he had watched as a kid when he still had a stable family.

"Let us have a look at it." Lucien said while taking the object in hand and looking at it very closely, "Well, it's rusty and... Ouch! Definitely sharp. Could be some sort of torturing device?"

Without waiting for a reply from Corenian, Lucien immediately walked over to the door and started to pick the lock.

"If this thing is a suspicious object, there might be more evidence in here." Lucien said, struggling to unlock the door.

Creeping into the room with more care than he normally would, Lucien looked around, looking for any more evidence to if Shinu had been in the room or if there were any teachers hiding. After making it past the first row of desks Lucien decided to ease up on his whole creeping idea.

"This is a... What type of classes would be in here?" Lucien asked, having never stepped inside the room before.

From further investigations, Lucien had come to the conclusion that the academy offered some sort of metalwork class since there was piles of metal sitting everywhere and tools spread out across the place.

"How about you start over that side and I'll work over here? That way we'll be able to sweep the place clean of any evidence in no time." Lucien said to Corenian while lifting up a pile of scrap metal, scouring for any clues.

"I've gotta try and get in to this class if it actually is a metalwork class." Lucien muttered to himself, looking at some small tools which looked hand made.

Corenian gave him a nod and went in the opposite direction, his eyes already accustomed to the deep darkness. Scrutinizing every object in front of him, he found many strange items such as a drill with a board below and many other foreign(metal work) items he had never seen before.

Seeing one item that perked his interest, he made his way over, slowly reaching out to it to try and brush it. But little did he notice that his finger was sweeping over a button.

The machine sprang to life, the drill whirling instantaneously, drilling through the board it was on. Yelling in surprise, Corenian fell back, staring at the strange machine before yelling, "how do you stop this demon!"

As the noise of the machine started, Lucien jumped, throwing a metal orb he was holding into more strange objects, causing more noise. Lucien ran over to the large machine and started to hit it, hoping the machine would shutdown, but it unfortunately kept going. The part of the board the drill was going through broke away, swinging dangerously on the drill.

"Damnit! Do what you can to stop it!" Lucien yelled over the noise of the machine.

"Few! That stopped the machine, but I'd say someone would've heard the noise. We should continue our search in another room so we don't get caught." Said lucien, picking up cogs and springs and casually throwing them on to the bench.

Unfortunately for the two, someone had heard the noise and hurried to see what the problem was. When the person reached the door, the noise had stopped, but they were still intent on finding out what the noise was. As the person reached for the door knob, they realised it was missing. The person started to ram their shoulder into the door, but it would not budge.

Lucien spun around in horror as the door seemed to start dancing.

"Quick! find a hiding spot!" Lucien whispered, while quickly tip-toeing to a cupboard to hide in.

Giving him a strange look, Corenian went over to the window and removed a strange device which he planted on the window lock and tapped a few times before pulling up the window and sliding out, signaling for Lucien to do the same. Slinking into the bush, he crawled over to the room next door and drilled a hole using that device till it reached the lock and did the same thing before opening the window.
