"Its a pleasure to meet you" Grieves said smiling as he shook her hand, "So what brings you here, what are you studying?"

"W-who me? I- I'm Corenian, Corenian Larithos. W-well this i-is acutally my first time attending a school so..." and with that he was totally out of breathe. He was extremely nervous since this was his first time talking to a girl. The martial arts trainers he had trained under were mostly quite sexist and after what happened to Fia he had never talked to another girl before.
"Come on, speak up, you're a man arn't you, if you are then speak properly, i mean you dont' have problems with me right?" The spirit chided, giving him a wink as she went over to the directory board for a look.
She had a point though, it was now or never, better to make a good impression when he had only first met someone, so clearing his throat he tried again once more "W-well i've never attened a proper s-school before so i don't know what its like, i was always training under one master after another so this is quite interesting for me too. I-if it's a-alright with you then l-l-lets be friends."

"really!?! aw you must be so nervous being in a big school like this when its all so new" she said and smiled brightly at him

"wow your a real trooper i would be terrified" she said adn smiled when he said friend and she wrapped her arms around him in a hug

"yay my frist friend at school!" she said and smiled brightly laughing brightly

"hmm your a little tense..." she said and blinked letting go of him and smiling at him warmly

she put her hands on his arms and closed her eyes

his muscles relaxed momentarily and she smiled opening her eyes

"if you ever get hurt. dont hesitate to tell me. ill fix you up." she smiled brightly

"ive only attended one other school. and it wasnt for very long but i do remember my first day being rather scary..." she said and blinked remembering the major battle moments after arriving and shivered

"so what are you studying in?" she asked and smiled at him letting go of him

Faina smiled at Grieves.

Actually, I'm here because of a little incident that happened a few months ago... I got in a bit of a fight and when I started to lose... This giant monster just came out of nowhere and scared the guys off. An old woman was there and was kind enough to tell me that it was a GF and that I had the ability to summon him. I mean, this wasn't the first time it had happened or anything, but now I know what it was and have some idea why it happened. So I came here to hone my abilities... She realized she had been rambeling and shut up, turning red and smiling at Grieves.

Grieves smiles back. Faina was a summoner.

"I didn't think there were any other summoners besides Shinu here." Grieves said, "What is your GF's name?"

Finding himself finally being at ease, Corenian finally found himself being able to speak eaasily to someone, someone other than Fia though he still did not feel too comfortable touching her which he continually told himself was a good thing.
"Well, errm I'm training in martial arts, hand to hand figthing and the like. This is my first time in a school, I used to train up in the mountains with a small group of people. Since most of what i learnt was circulated very little and the master said that it was a dying art, i bgean compiling all they taught into a book, filling it with what i've expermimented with as we-"
He found himself trailing off soon after, believing that he had made himself seem overenthusiastic over martial arts which may result in her thinking he was some sort of martial arts maniac and decided to switch topics, maybe to something which he thought both of them would have interest in
"Errm, so you're a healer i'm guessing. The medicines you people use never cease to amaze me. Back in the mountains we didn't really use much other than gathered herbs. I find the methods you people use quite interesting. Oh and you said you attened another school before and that it was scary right, what exactly do you mean by scary? We-well I'm not trying to pry so if you don't want to say so its fine with m-me"

"no its ok. the school i attended before this was on the dangerous side. infact it was destoryed which is why i am here. it was placed in some dangerous parts of the world..." she said and her eyes zoned out then she cameback and smiled at him

"ahhh its ok though youll be fine and wow a book thats so amazing! martial arts is something ive always wanted to learn. but since my time is taken over by learning healing all i have the energy for is hand to hand combat. just in case of an emergency" she said and smiled brightly

"im so happy we are friends corenian this makes me so happy! i didnt think i was going to fit in!" she beamed with joy her face almost hurting she was smiling so much that day

"W-well i felt the samething when i first stepped in here, if you want i could lend you one of the simpler books first. Most of the books are diagram based so i guess they should help," he said with a smile, finally being able to accept being around someone else other than Fia. Spaking of whom, he turned to the staircase near the directory only to see her give he a thumbs up and a nod, a grin obvious on he face, " It's nice to have a friend."

"thank you so much corenian really!" she said and smiled "maybe you can help me with my combat. im not so good when it comes to sparring. i get so nervious..." she said and blinked turning a pink again after stating a flaw of her own

"and you being a martial arts guy... i dont know ... maybe you could give me some tips" she said and smiled brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes before looking back up at him. she felt so short and small compared to him and she chuckled slightly "what do you say?"

Looking back to Kairi, he tried his best to stay confident of his current speaking way ofwhich he believed would not last
"Well if you want, i could train you, just tell me when, we can meet in the training hall though if you really want to learn martial arts well, fear is the first step to overcome. It is not easy fighting a weapon wielder when they have a longer reach than you."
Even so, he felt that trying to teach someone would not be easy since he had never done anything of the sort before. However, he believed that if he could write martial art books, he could dothis as well
