Shinu thought hard, he was trying to remember his childhood. Now that he thought about it, his mind was so advanced and his mother knew it, she never let him have time to imagine things.

Well my life's goal is not to be a great Summoner... it's... well I want to be a father some day.

He wasn't sure how that would be received. Either way, it was the truth, and that was enough for Shinu.

I think that's a great goal! I want to have kids, as well, a lot of them. Mom and I used to joke that I'd have one and be done, like she was with me.

Nioelle laughed at the memories--her mother and her sitting on the hill outside there house in Winhill, after her father left, talking of Nioelle's future.

Ha, my mom was one and done too! You know, maybe I'll come up with a way to make the pain less and then people won't mind having more than one at a time. I'd LOVE a big family!

Countless lectures were going through Shinu's mind now. "NO KIDS before you finish you're education!" His mother said this so many times he almost feared having kids for the sole reason of not dying himself.

I've always wanted four. My mom would look at me like I was crazy, but I was always deadset on four. If you could develop something to make it less painful, that would be nice!

Nioelle laughed a bit before stretching.

How many do you want?

Me? I don't know, I guess I haven't really thought about it specifically. I'd like to see some boys so that they can be better men than I ever dreamed of being. Really though, what I want more than anything in the world... is a daughter.

Shinu looked around the library, he just knew his daughter would be smart like him. Hopefully she was fun and playful, that would be such a handful as her dad, but more fun that he'd ever had in his life.

Yeah, a daughter would be great!

Nioelle smiled.

I always wanted to have two of each, nice and balanced. Close together, too, so they'd all grow up together and hopefully not fight a lot.

Nioelle blushed at the fact she was talking about this with someone she just met. It usually wasn't like her to open up like this.

I thought I was an optimist. You want two boys and two girls close in age to not fight? Even I can't invent something to help that!

Shinu laughed and gave her a warm hug.

I envy you for even thinking it could happen though.

He gave her another smile and finally let her go. He sat back in his spot again. The couch was extremely comfortable. He'd definitely be back here to read in the future.

You know, four kids might not be too bad though. With the right parents, I'm sure they could get along somewhat. If they were close in age, I'm sure they'd love each other a whole lot by the time they became adults. It would sure be fun to see four beings I helped create running around causing havoc though!

Shinu looked at Nioelle again. Those green eyes of hers were amazing. Actually, she was amazing. Not just her beauty, but she was so nice, and so honest with him, and so... genuine. She was so normal, so familiar. So... like his mother. That was it. That's why he couldn't get enough of this girl, she was just like the woman he loved the most. He wouldn't get ahead of himself though, that was for certain. Still, he was not willing to approach Nioelle the same as every other girl, because it was evident at this point... she wasn't every other girl.

Hey, why don't we go get some fresh air? The Garden is great and all, but I know a great spot down by the sea that you would love to see. Care to join me?

Grieves walked into the library. his longsword and daggers on his person. Never hurt to be prepared for combat. He approached a book rack and saw two people talking. He recognized one to be his roommate and the other to be the one he met when he met the headmaster. Though both of them seemed to be occupied with their conversation so Grieves left them alone.

kairi came into the library with a book under her arm and one in her hand along with a note book with unreadable notes on it.

she had a pencil in her hair so it held it up in a bun. and she looked worn out

she walked up to the librarian and asked were the non-fiction section was and walked over looking through the books finding the one she needed on different herbs and she sighed looking at it up on the shelf putting the books on the floor standing on them to try and reach it

"ahhh so close" she said as her finger tips barely brushed up against it

Grieves pulled his head out of the book he was studying to see a worn out Kairi looking francticly through the book racks for a specific book. Part of him wanted to get up to help her out, but he needed to do this research so he could get stronger.

Eventually Grieves gave up on his research and approached Kairi.

"Can I help you find anything?"
