Ok, We all know that Semoyr's mother is the fayth here, but does anyone know how it became ruined, and with water covering 3/4 of everything?

This is what was running through my mind last night when attempting to get Anima. I did come up with a semi-reasonable explanation, but I think there could be a better story behind it.


My explanation -

A few years after Seymours mother became the fayth is when Seymour started to turn twisted. The words of his mother rang through his head and drove him past the sanity line, "You must use me to defeat Sin."

Seymour then used his power to destroy the Baaj Temple and sink it underneath the ocean.

I have an explanation that I wanted to role play out at Spira's Forgotten.

During this age, Baaj temple is alive and thriving. However, one of my characters has some things go tragically wrong there between his mother and his father.
