I hate Vaan as well, almost as much as I hate Cloud. Zack's pretty cool, but it's all about Basch!! He's my favourite!

I don't understand why everyone likes CLoud so much though. He's pretty prickish, and we all know that Zack would own him anyway.

It's simply one of these 2

1. They've actually played ff7, studied the plot untill they can rehearse every line without playing the game and have fallen inlove with the idea of an angsty man who saves the world.

2. They have heard over exaggerated stories of cloud and automatically think he is the best.

Only played FF7 & Dirge of Cerberus. Defeated the weapon that was heading towards midgar and stopped playing there.

Found Dirge more interesting, but the combat system horrible.

in my opinion all other ff7 characters > Cloud (...If that was the right way, can't remember how the greater than sign goes).

I never saw what people like so much about him, especially when half the stuff they like in his personality was part of his Zack rip-off routine He is more annoying than the main cast of Final Fantasy V most of the time, and i really dont like them. Perhaps he should be replaced with Mortimer Goth, that guy would look awesome with a giant sword.

Isn't Mortimer Goth a Sim character?

I'd laugh if it was. He'd go around talking in Simlish, while everyone was thinking WTF!?
