No I'm not including the cutscences, but VII didn't have that many cut scenes.

I thought V was really short. It's a very epic game, but there's less in the way of side quests. V just doesn't seem to take a very long time to do anything. VI is definately the better game, but it just seems to take more time to play.

Both of the games are a typical 40 hour or more FF game. That being said, you can beat it in a week of work.

I'm not that much of a side quest kida guy. i'll try to get through 5 first. and it takes a week to reply to nina's pms, now she'll really be pissed.
