After a long night of talking, Shinu and Nioelle decided to make this a night that would never end. Slowly they crept into the room. It must have been past 3am, but neither of them knew for sure. John was asleep on his bed and Shinu opened the door to the living room for Nioelle. While she was entering, he tip toed back to get his pillow and cover off of his bed. Silently he threw everything into the living room and shut the door.

Alright, these walls are pretty close to sound proof so we should be alright. Let me set up the "bed".

He spread the blanket out over the ground, and as he did that, he noticed there was no space under the couch. That was odd. Going over to take a closer look, he noticed a handle. It was a pull out couch! His all time favorite! That old Cid... he was a good man for this one. Shinu pulled the matress out, sheet already on.

Well then, that works.

Shinu laid down the pillow and set the cover on the edge of the bed.

Welcome to my home. Let's lie down, it's been a long day.

He wasn't kidding, this was a very long day. Quickly he took off his shirt and threw it on the coffee table and stretched out on the bed, his feet nearly hanging off... as usual.

Nioelle giggled and walked over to him. She took her shoes off and climbed onto the "bed" next to him.

You're too tall for this!

She laughed and smiled at him, before lightly kissing him.

I'm so tired!

She yawned as she said it, so the words were slurred together.

Eh?

Shinu understood what she said, he was just giving her a hard time. He rolled over onto his side to face her. He stared directly into those pretty green eyes, enough to see himself in them. Then he focused on her nose, and her lips, and finally he kissed them with a soft and gentle press.

You're tired huh? I am too, I just don't know if I can ever sleep because I'll start missing you and wake up again.

Nioelle kissed Shinu back, and smiled.

In that case, I'll try to stay up a bit longer, if you'd like. I wouldn't want you to become an insomniac over me.

It's ok, hopefully this won't be our last night sleeping together.

Shinu brought her in closer to him, putting her head on his chest. He closed his eyes and just focused on the touch, the way their bodies felt together. Slowly, he began to run his fingers through her hair, gently rubbing her scalp in the process.

Nioelle smiled as she sighed happily, snuggling closer to Shinu. She never thought all of this could happen in so short of time.

I'm really happy I decided to come here. To the garden, I mean.

She looked up at Shinu, and noticed his eyes were closed. She gently kissed his neck and replaced her head on his chest, closing her eyes as well.

He didn't stop stroking her hair when she kissed him on the neck. He hadn't seen it coming, and it sent a small tingle causing the hairs on the back of his neck to stand up. Without opening his eyes, he whispered to her.

The only thing bad about falling asleep is that I have to close my eyes and miss out on your beauty.

Nioelle felt herself blush, like she had been doing so much this week.

Your eyes are closed now, silly!

Nioelle kissed his neck once more, before settling down to fall asleep, her tiredness finally overtaking her.

I'll be here when you wake up.

Nioelle kept her promise to Shinu. He fell asleep in peace after hearing her last words. He'd fallen asleep and never work up once. It was a lovely feeling, normally he tossed and turned at night. Looking down Shinu saw his beautiful Nini, giving her a smile though she wasn't awake to see it.

Slowly and silently, he unwrapped his arm from around her and gave his best effort to float off the bed. He tip toed across the room and picked up a pen and paper. He scribbled down a note and left it next to Nioelle where she could easily see it if she woke up. He peeked out of the door to see that Jon was gone, good.

The note read...

Nini,
Don't be worried, I am bringing you back a surprise. If you wake up and I'm not here, I'll be back as soon as I can, just stay put. I miss you already.

Nioelle's eyes fluttered open, and she realized she was alone. She yawned as she got up, rubbing her eyes. Before she could panic with worry where Shinu had gone, a note caught her eye. She picked it up and smiled as she read it.

Oh, fine. Just leave me here, then.

She laughed to herself as she sat on the bed, staring at the door, waiting for Shinu to return.
