Lucien was stumbling through the corridors or the academy after drinking a little too much at the tavern where he was gambling, when he heard music and a lot of talking coming from dorm 1. He was curious as to why the music was so loud. He decided to invade, since he was in a tipsy mood and didn't quite care if he was invited or not. What Lucien saw did not hit him until he was a few steps into the room.

"Oh, so there's an after party!" Lucien muttered to himself.

"Well lets see where to begin."

Raven said to her not stopping the dance himself either.

"Well i grew up near Balamb, so i know the area and the creatures pretty well, also my parents taught me also. My parents where acrheologists that mainly studied the Centra people, but they were killed when i was seventeen. I only found out cause my fathers sword got shipped to me."

Raven said to her, he was trying to keep his mind clear of the sad thoughts as he was enjoying himself for the first time in a long time.

The old man's bowed frame, weighted by years of life, made its way down the hallway adjoining the library wing with the student dormitories. His sandals barely made a noise as he made his steady, unhurried way towards the dorms, and then to his apartment. Once again, he cursed the architect that decided to place the libraries so far from the people who needed them most.

The most immediately striking feature of the old man were his deep, mulberry eyes, set in a face worn with wrinkles, though still taut and youthful. His hair was also of notice, a dark magenta, framing pointed ears and elven features. Clad in crimson robes that swept down over his feet, he made for a rather absurd sight on first glance.

He had been requested to attend the ball of course. However, such events bored him. He also saw no real need for celebration. The mission these green young novices had completed had been shoddy at best, completely unorganized at best. They had started well, but before the end, they'd all run off to start whacking at things alone. So, uncharacteristic of him, he had volunteered to patrol the halls during the ball with the other, unhappy instructors who had been picked by lot. Which he had had absolutely no intention of doing, of course. He had spent the entirety of the event in the library, negotiating a rather old tome, attemting to decipher the unknown language. It seemed similar to Dwarven, albeit only slightly, and the archaic form of it at that. Once he had been roused from his labors by the striking of a clock, he decided that it was time to rest his eyes and bones for the night.

Lost in thought, as he usually was during these unendurable long (for his aged body, at least) treks, his wits almost leaped from his skull as some hooligan, clearly drunk, nearly charged right into him from an intersecting hallway. Before the aged elf could utter an outraged word, the drunkard was again stumbling his oblivious way down the hallway. Snapped out of his meditations by his encounter with the man, he suddenly became aware of rather loud music reverberating through the hallway.

Looking down the adjoining hall, the elder noticed the hoodlum stumble through an open door, which seemed to be the source of the music. Nostrils flaring with outrage at the thought of a drunken party taking place in the academy, he shuffled quickly down the hallway, ready to crack heads and throw someone out of a window. It was clear that he hadn't had much success with his work that night, from his readiness to fly into a rage.

Nia looked up at Raven, it was obvious that what he said made her sad. She didn't know what to answer to cheer him up or even to change the subject of the conversation so instead she just stopped dancing and wrapped her arms around him hugging him tightly.

Nioelle sat by herself, watching everyone have fun. She had a drink in her hand, her second of the night, and swore she would stop drinking after this one. She was happy to see everyone having fun, and getting along. The only person she knew well was Shinu.

She spotted him and decided to go over and see if he wanted to dance.

You busy?

She asked it like a little kid, looking up at him, her eyes wide like a kid would look at someone they admired. She smiled, hoping she hadn't interrupted his conversation.

Shinu didn't truly realize just how many people he'd met at the Garden already, but it becamse clear after he set Cyrus loose from his grip and turned to greet Faina.

Hey, of course you're invited. This is open invitation of course. Here, take a seat and make yourself comfortable.

Reaching behind his back he grabbed a soda and handed it to her. He spun around again and it was only his favorite person in the Garden, Nioelle. She was so cute with the way she always looked at him.

I could never be too busy for you.

In a flash he'd already grabbed her hand and pulled her out to the center of the room. If anyone is watching, he could have never noticed. He danced at a much slower pace than usual, unable to concentrate on his footwork while staring at her eyes.

The aged elf's enraged stalk towards the unsuspecting occupants of dorm 001 was interrupted by a sudden chiming from the folds of his robe, somewhere near his hip. He snatched a small, grey box from his hip, whipping it out in front of his face. Anyone watching could have sworn that he was about to hurl it at the wall with every ounce of his anger-fueled strength. Instead, he scowled down at a small, lit screen in the box, displaying words. After a minute of scanning the scrolling text, the elf shoved the box into his pocket, and closed the last few meters between him and the dorm.

The drunk had apparently closed the door on his way in, explaining the sudden muffling of the music. This was good. The elder always loved catching the young unaware. Raising a single long, white finger, he touched it to the center of the door.

The door suddenly burst inwards, obtaining a large dent where the finger had been lain, practically tearing out to door jamb and nearly flying off of its hinges. Anyone standing nearer to the door than five feet was almost knocked off of his feet by a wave of force traveling through the air from the now open doorway. Amid the tumult of shouts and cracking wood, the elven scholar stepped into the room, bellowing as great as his arcane voice allowed.

"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE!?" he shouted, raking the students with his sharp, angered gaze. His eyes snapped upon the drunken Lucian, who had been knocked off his severely impaired balance onto the ground.

"On this, the night when all the school was celebrating the completion of your maiden assignment and initiation into the hallowed halls of this academy, you find it fit to flout the rules of this institution? How is it that such folly even crossed the minds of those who were deemed fit to work and toil as students of this most sacred of schools; you honor the trust that this academy has placed upon you with alcohol and debauchery? Ungrateful wretches!" Smouldering with anger, the bent elf shot piercing looks at every one of them, finally fixing his eyes on the clearly intoxicated Lucian, as if he was about to launch beams of heat from his eyes and incinerate the poor fool.

His anger slightly abated, perhaps having vented a portion upon the unfortunate door and the initial words, he spoke in a voice just a little above what would be otherwise considered an inside voice, "As it so happens, that our headmaster Cid requires the presence of every one of you in his office, immediately. So prepare yourselves, and be in his office within the half-hour. Oh, and do something about him. He'll need to be there as well," launching more eye beams at Lucian. With his rage clearly expended, the wizened elder turned on his heel, and marched over the threshold. A slight gesture of his wrist as he exited brought the door slamming shut behind him. In stunned silence, the students watched as, with a last, slow creak, the door snapped off of its last hinge and fell with a thud to the floor, clearly showing the indentation in its center, about three feet in diameter.

Shinu slowly eyed the room. Everyone was wide eyed and confused, he wasn't much better. Slowly everything that just happened in the last thirty seconds sank in. Okay, so the party was over, he got that. Cid needed them. Why? Not over a party, not at this hour. What could it be?

Well he could have just opened the door with the handle, but whatever. Everyone, I'm sorry about that. Not much we can do now, orders are orders. Everyone get dressed in their uniform. If we're in trouble, I'll take the fall with Cid. Sounds to me like punishment isn't on his mind though. Prepare yourself as if this were a mission.

As everyone filed out, Shinu put Lucien on Corenian's back, hoping he could carry him there. He'd asked Kairi to heal him to see if it counterracted the alcohol. He needed to be sober if this was indeed a mission. All that remained was Shinu and Nioelle. Her unifrom was still in his closet from when she slept over.

Walking slowly through the corridors that lined the School, Asuma, his hands dug deeply into his pockets, and his eyes closed, could hear the music the party gave off from the far side of the dormitories. Not wanting to investigate, but not wanting to just ignore it, he had decided to come see what all was happening. He knew it was a party, from the sound of it. But from what? And what reason. Those questions always plagued him when it came to these things. Such loud music. Sighing as he walked, Asuma opened his eyes, letting his golden pupils see the artificial light that the lights above him gave off. It was getting late now, and he was wide awake. He might as well see what was going on, regardless.

When he got closer, if he hadn't as been as controlled as he was, he might have laughed. There seemed to be some old elf yelling at people, slamming open the door with a finger pointed at everyone inside the room. It was comical, actually, what some people would do when they were annoyed. Though, Asuma only heard what he said last. Cid, of course, had already asked for him. He simply ignored it for the time being, to see what was going on. He wouldn't be late, but he wouldn't be early. It seemed he would be able to see the others as well, before they went. Before he had to meet them all. Oh, joy. In any case, he needed to get there. After quickly walking past the room, seeing a few people inside, though he could only briefly see them, Asuma walked towards Cid's office.
