kairi smiled walking up tot he dorm building looking at the number she had written on her hand and smiled opening the door pulling her suitcase in and her eye let off a twictch when she looked at the stairs then she realized she was on the first floor and she turned with a sigh of relief and skipped down the hall opening a door smiling brightly at it

"ahhhhh home sweet home" she said and pulled her bag in and plopped it on one of the beds

she blinked looking over to see the other bed was still empty and she left the door open for her room mate who she was eager to meet.

she opened her bag and pulled out her new books out of her school bag and set them on the desk by her bed smiling looking at them all. she started to tape up a poster of different combat positions for her practice over her bed wondering when her room mate would show up.

The hallway was still and quiet as she walked through it. She pulled out a piece of paper that had, "Dorm 005" written on it. Her footsteps came to a stop when she noticed a sheet of sunlight blanketing the floor a couple of steps away from her. Kryst slowly made her way towards the open room, taking note that the plaque matched the number on the paper. She crumpled the paper and reached behind her to tuck it away into her backpack. Kryst lingered in the doorway for a second then stared over at the female unpacking.

"Roommate, I presume?"

"AH YES YES YES!" she smiled running over to her leaping up to her in a hug

"ahhh im so happy we finally met this is going to be the best ever! ahhh whats your name? mines kairi im sorry am i being to clingy?" she asked and took a step back and smiled pulling her into the room

"i grabbed this bed but if you want it we can always switch i have no problem with it" she smiled at her brightly holding out her hand

Kryst smoothed out her uniform and dropped her small backpack onto the free bed across from Kairi's.

"It's no problem. This bed is fine."

She pressed the back of her skirt underneath her before she sat down slowly on her bed. Kryst spread her arms along the bed for support as she threw her head back. A curtain of her auburn hair dazzled in the sunlight while she relaxed for what seemed like a mere few seconds. The teal irises hid behind her faintly tan eyelids. A long sigh escaped from her lips as she inhaled and exhaled.

"My name is Kryst.."

Her introduction sounded as calm as she appeared then. Kryst rolled back upright and looked over at the window.

"It's warm in here." she said absent-mindedly.

kairi blinked she hadnt even noticed how warm it was in the room until she had mentioned it.

"i think the window opens" she said and walked over fiddling with the lock and then pushing it up and open smiling at the cool breeze in the room

"its very nice to meet you kryst" kairi said and let out a sigh taking out her books that she set neatly in order on her table. all of them were leather bound elven books on the ancient art of healing. most people thought these books had been lost in a massive fire that had burned down the forest. but kairi had taken very good care of her treasured items dusting them off slightly and smiled then pulled out her not book and pencil setting them in her dresser by her bed and blinked hanging her few clothes up in the closet before finally sitting down on the bed and she smiled slightly falling back onto the bed her arms spread out on either side of her before she finally sat up and burshed her hair back and looked at kryst

"so... may i ask what you are studying?" she asked as she french braided her red hair her bangs falling into her face and she smiled letting the cool breeze cool off her neck now that her hair was up off her neck mostly

Kryst watched Kairi move about the room fiddling with things here and there. The voice of her chauffeur echoed in her mind. She was then reminded that her belongings would arrive later. The thought escaped her as she looked over at Kairi who was looking at her now. Kryst's wavy locks fluttered lightly as a breeze rolled in through the window. She reach up slowly and tucked some her hair behind her ear as she answered, "Sword magic. A rare trait." Her voice was so soft incomparison to how she normally spoke. The words acted as if they had trickled out of her mouth leaving a burdened expression on her face.

"wow! im not so good with pointed objects..." she said and laughed brightly at her

"you seem a little tense... is everything ok?" kairi asked and smiled

"by the way i hope you dont think im weird but you are absolutely stunning! i wish i was even close to your looks. your tall and your beautiful... sometimes i think gods punished me with this bright red hair and pale skin. not to mention im so short." she said and then sighed

"im very jealous" she smiled

Kryst smiled a bit at Kairi's 'pointed objects' remark. She continued to listen to her. However, her smiling eyes slanted into a piercing glare. A bit of fury blossomed inside of her chest. Kairi's compliment ignited something in her. Kryst got to her feet and pressed her lips into a stern line. She tried to form words without sounding so brash.

"Don't compare yourself to me. There is nothing to be jealous about." Kryst looked down at Kairi.

"ah...." kairi said and blinked "i...i dint mean anything by it i swear..." she said and let her tenseness soften with a little bit of a suprise

She sighed and dropped back onto the bed. Kryst ran her fingers through her hair feeling a bit guilty for snapping at her.

"Sorry..I get upset when people talk about my appearance."

Her hand fell back to her side and gripped the edge of the bed.
