"alright then ill put it on my mental check list of what not to say." she said and smiled at her sitting down with her legs crossed in the chair

"ive never heard of sword magic before... how is that done... i mean ive heard of swords and ive heard of magic but.. my minds having trouble piecing the two together" she asked

Her head jerked up at Kairi. A wave of relief swept over her at that moment. Kryst, still gripping the edge of the bed, rocked forward and back as she explained in an enthusiastic tone of voice.

"Sword magic is pretty simple." She stopped and leaned in for a second, "It takes a lot of energy--mana--to do it."

Kryst began rocking to and fro again.

"You just bless the current weapon with a specific magic and it becomes that element. Heavy spells such as Flare or Holy may do a lot of damage...but! You sacrifice a lot of mana. Powerful stuff, at a price y'know?

"ahh i understand. same thing with healing. you can heal someone but to do so i have to sacrifice some of my energy. equivalent exchange is what we call it back home. something can be made into something else is something of equal value is given up" she said remember the deffinition from when she was reading her book on it

"interesting... sounds like something very very useful. but leads you down the path of danger. make sure you come to me when your hurt. i promise to help with whatever i can." she smiled brightly

Kryst looked over at Kairi with a bit of a smirk on her face,

"It seems as if we need each other, in a matter of speaking. Perhaps we'll be more than just roommates when it comes to the battlefield."

She flipped her hair away from her face, "My magic damage and your healing abilities go hand in hand. Don't you think so?"

kairi nodded and smiled " indeed they do!" she smiled "so dont forget to tell me before you head off on a mission" she smiled brightly

kairi turned slightly and opened the little pouch on her waist pulling out one needle with blue liquid and then a few green potions and set them on her desk yawning as she did so. it had been a while since she had slept. about a week. she really only needed to sleep for about 6 hours a week with her healing able to keep her up for long periods of time.

she turned to her room mate again and smiled

"do you like to swim?" kairi asked. it was her own favorite way to pass time when she didnt sleep she would swim. water was one of the closest elements to healing and was used in her form of healing alot

"Swimming?" Kryst turned her to head quickly back to Kairi.

"Absolutely. I come from a kingdom dedicated to water. A gorgeous castle by the sea.."

She leaned back and crossed her legs as she continued to sit on her bed.

"..and where do you come from?"
