Faina slowly opened the door to Dorm 002, hoping someone else would already be there. Was she even sharing a room with anyone? She kind of hoped not- new people made her uncomfortable- but she liked meeting them anyways. She was strange like that.

She opened the door and looked around. The room was empty. She sighed. First to arrive, like usual. She hated it- it made her seem over eager and geeky. And she wasn't; it was just that she liked to know where she was, who she was dealing with and all possible escape routes.

Dropping her duffle bag on the bed next to the window, she slipped her shoes off and sat down. The view fom the window was spectacular. Green grass, blue skies. Nothing else really mattered; any view of nature was good for Faina.

The door handel started to wiggle a little. Fiana stood up and waited to meet her roommate.

Nioelle walked down the hall to her room. She obsered the outside through the windows in the hall and smiled. It was so nice there, and Nioelle never wanted to leave.

She reached her dorm and slowly reached for the handle, hoping someone was already inside. She hated being the first one anywhere, but it occasionally happened.

She turned the handle to see a young girl standing near her bed. Nioelle smiled warmly at her as she closed the door, stepping into the room.

Hi, I'm Nioelle. Looks like we're going to be roommates, huh? She asked, bowing.

Faina smiled at Nioelle. She was friendly! Hurray!!

Hello, I'm Faina. It's a pleasure to meet you, she said, returning the bow.

I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other, then, huh?

Nioelle smiled, to show that she wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to start conversation.

What are you studying?

Faina smiled back, glad that her roommate seemed nice and didn't hate her right off the bat.

I guess we will! I'm studying summoning, actually. I haven't met anyone else that is yet, so I feel a bit like an oddball. She laughed. What about you? What's your area of expertise? She hoped Nioelle didn't think she was being sarcastic.......

Nioelle smiled.

Magic. Don't worry, I haven't met anyone studying that yet, either!

She laughed and stretched.

Faina sat down on her bed and smiled.

So how do you like it here? I seem to get lost a lot.. It's just so BIG! She laughed.

Nioelle laughed with her.

I got lost just trying to find our dorm! I didn't know it was going to be so big!
