How does one judge a life? Is there such a thing as a "worthless" life? And what gives a life value or not?

I'm not goodat these things but I'm going to try to explain correctly what I think. I think there is no such thing as a worthless or valuable life. A life is judged by what has happened, what you have accomplished, your goals, how close you are to achieving them, and stuff. But no matter what the answer is, you are never more or less valuable than the other.

She has a point Erk (not sure i you still go by that) every life has its worth that is why you have that life to begin with. as that life progresses you achieve something that affects the whole world even though it may not seem that way. Every life on the world affects the other greatly.

I believe that every life is worth the same, no matter who you are or what you do. A homeless, wrecked and virtually useless person is worth just as much as a rich, talented person. A life is a life, no matter what form it's in.

And why do you say that? On what basis are we judging the value of lives, if we find them to be essentially the same?
