Erm...well actually all blacks are descendants in one way or another from Africans...hence the term "African-American". Somewhere in their ancestry: an African is there.
ANYWAY:
I agreed completely with Aaryn on the stereotype "I speak my mind so I must be a bitch".
Also, the only way I'd consider you a bitch in that situation is if you don't allow anyone else to express their opinion. But just because you express yours doesn't mean you'll automatically disregard everyone else's.
Strawberrylove showed us another bad effect of stereotyping. In this case I'll let an English expression speak for me: One bad apple ruins the basket.
Tiffy: I'm glad you stood up for that girl...but if I may say, "that girl" sounds a lot like you? Don't shoot me if I'm just talking rubbish...
To address John and the anti-gay church officials:
There're two things I know about history- it's important to learn from the past and history repeats itself.
In this case it's both. Those officials are mirroring the propaganda of the time when blacks were being persecuted. Why? Because it works. People are too dumb to think for themselves sometimes and find it much easier to just go along with whatever other people say.
I'm not going to go into much more now because, quite frankly, I cbb.
