Cid took his place behind the desk in his oversized chair, waiting for Raven to enter so that he could get the story about his mishap with Grieves in the cafeteria.

Raven sighed and walked into the office, he knew sooner or later this was bound to happen, though didn't expect it so soon

"You wished to speak with me?," he said to Cid.

"I will gladly," Raven said and then walked and took a seat in one of the chairs.

"As you know we were on the mission to obtain the Guardian Force Ifrit within the Volcano. Well when we entered we did run into a large resistance of monsters but soon we became overwhelmed and a bomb explosion took out me and Kira, almost taking out Shinu as well but Kira managed to save him," Raven said and then pausing for Cid to catch up

"Well from what i have heard, Shinu ordered Johnathan to go ahead and draw the Fire God out, which he did but was quickly taken out by the Guardian Force. And Ever since then he has been sulking aorund, and I will not allow someone that is distracted and or sulking to be part of any team I am as it will weaken the team's strength."

Cid kept his eyes focused on Raven, listening to each word he said and monitoring his facial expressions to see that what he was saying was truth.

I see. Well Raven, I commend you on trying to strenghthen the team. However, do keep in mind that we have a lot of different personalities and backgrounds. You may have recovered from your loss well, but not everyone is that way.

Now Cid stood up and walked around the desk and sat next to Raven.

Shinu would be the same way. He's a fragile mind because he's never really faced a situation he couldn't handle... yet. The boy is smart and talented sure, but his mother has always protected him. If he should ever be defeated, I'm not sure how he'd take it. Johnathan is just a proud man, and I'm sure where he's from losing isn't acceptable. Just try to keep that in mind alright?

"Some people need to get rid of their pride, and learn to accept stuff. Though i know there is more to this sulking than what meets the eye," Raven said to Cid.

"though I can't be talking when it comes to secrets."

Yes well, we all have our skeletons, even me. None of us our saints here and we all have our weak points.

Cid leaned back in his chair, hoping to lighten the mood a bit.

You know, if you really want to make the team stronger, you won't give people grief for their weaknesses. As hard as it is, the best leaders show they care and are able to reach across many walks of life to help everyone and make the world better.

"i'm not the leader of the team, i am just a member of it. Shinu is the leader he is the one that needs those traits and by the looks of it he has them."

Raven said to Cid looking over at him.

Raven didn't say anything this time he was just replaying what CId had said over and over in his head. He then nodded his head.

"Alright, I'll learn I guess."
