A short roundish man walked around the conference room, a high ceiling captured his eye as the atrium allowed him to view what a pleasent day it was outside. A great day to open the school, and an even better day to meet his top recruits. He was expecting them to be punctual, and he hoped that all of them would come to this meeting. Cid was anxious to get started as headmaster, a prestigious title some doubted he was ready for.

The first to arrive was a familiar face to Cid, Shinu. He had recruited Shinu personally, took him and his mother out for dinner and all to get them to separate from each other and allow Shinu to study at Balamb Garden. He was an imposing figure, a promising athlete, but his mother preached to him that weaponry was not going to be allowed in her home because she didn't want her son engaging in such atrocious acts. The arts of summoning however, that was appropriate for a boy with the brain that Shinu had.

Hello Headmaster Cid!

The two laughed for a moment, the last time they spoke Cid was an ambitious man with no success and Shinu was just a kid considering the idea to go to a Garden that didn't exist. Now Cid was Headmaster of a brilliant Garden and as he asked, Shinu would be one of his top students and researchers there.

Take a seat son. How was your trip?

Shinu sat down in a very comfortable black leather chair. Nothing but the finest for Cid and his dreams he supposed.

Well it was alright. It was tough to leave mom as I'm sure you could imagine. I'm just anxious to get started. I haven't seen many students yet though, no more than a dozen actually.

We don't exactly have a reputation yet. I'm going to lean on the students in this meeting room today to carry out important missions that will make Balamb Garden and the new SeeD Academy a force to be reckoned with, and a staple of households and nations alike. Until we have shown we're reliable, very few parents will send their students here.

I understand. I hope you make good on the promises made to my mother, you know how she feels about this whole thing. Oh, and my research I sent you, did you look it over?

I did. In fact, that's our first mission.

Kira opened the door to what he believed to be the ballroom, he was told head there when he had finished unpacking. The room was huge, and the roof was high enough that made him dizzy just looking at it, then he looked to see who was in the room already. As he thought he wasn't the first person there. The person he assumed was the headmaster and another person who he thought must be a student since he looked only a few years older them himself where talking.

Excuse me, i am here for the meeting. I hope that i'm not late.

Kira walked towards where the two were. He first adressed the headmaster.

Good day, my name is Kira Ashta. Pleased to meet you headmaster.

Then Kira turned around to face the other student.

Pleased to meet you too.

Having introduced himself he turned around and sat down on one of the black leather seats. Kira thought "God i hope i don't mess up at this place. It seems like a good place to be at"

Ah Kira, please just call me Cid, I've read your profile and was anxious to meet you. No need for the formalities!

Pleasure to meet you as well. My name is Shinu, we're still waiting on a few more students, so hopefully we fill up the meeting room.

Shinu smiled and looked around. At least there was another male student his age that he could befriend. Things were looking up.

A Garden. Raven hadn't expected another one to be built at all, but when he had found out that there was one being built on the Balamb continent, he immediately took interest in going to there. He had been thinking about going to Galbadia Garden to hone his skills and a gunblademan but one closer to home, he couldn't have asked for anything more. He had no parents left anymore, and there were no friends that really wanted him to stay so either Garden would've worked, but the thing was that he had no money at all to get to Galbadia, therefore it was once again a blessing that there was a garden closer to his home.

His gunblade, was his treasure, it was his fathers after it was sent to Raven when he found out his parents had died. He didn't know the exact details of how they died but all he knew was that one day they said that they were going to check out the Centra Ruins. Archelogists, always putting themselves in danger, and my parents paid the price of doing so. Though they did it for their job and what they liked doing best so I know they died in honor Raven thought to himself, heading towards the meeting hall. His gunblade was the Hyperion model, though it's blade was a little longer than most. The sleek and slinder black blade, and its black pistol grip handle. It was a fearsome weapon to behold. Even more fearsome when the firing mechanism was activated, sending a tremor through the blade causing even more destruction. He knew that few could control it, and he was lucky one of those few that had mastered it.

Raven approached the meeting hall finally. He was already wearing the normal uniform for the students of the garden, he he found to be quit comfortable. He then walked in and saw a short, stout man and also a larger man sitting down in one of the leather chairs, also there was another student there. "Headmaster," he said with a slight bow and looked over at the other two nodding. "You wished to speak with me."

Nioelle was beyond excited to be at Garden. She had little time to take it all in when she arrived, however-she was already late for the meeting.

Rushing from the front gates to the ballroom, or, where the maps pointed her to, she hoped she hadn't missed anything.

She let up her sprint into a steady walk as she neared the doors. She opened them quietly, not wanting to draw much attention to herself in case the meeting was underway. She didn't want to disturb anyone.

She walked up to a man others were seated around, assuming he was the headmaster.

Hello, sir. It is very nice to meet you. I apologize for my timing; I hope I am not late.

She looked around and noticed a few of the other students looking at her. She bowed slightly and smiled.

Johnathan had finally put his stuff away. He noticed a majority of students walking towards the ballroom. Obviously something was going on there.

Finally arriving at the ballroom Johnathan entered the gigantic room to see the headmaster and several other students sitting at attention.

"Hello headmaster" Johnathan said with a slight bow

The headmaster was filled with joy! Cid was a jolly old man, never having taken more pleasure out of anything than developing the talented youth of their world. More and more students were filling the room. The diversity of the profiles that made up the students in this room.

Yes I did, it's a pleasure to meet you Raven. A gunblade wizard I understand. You will be a valuable asset here, and hopefully our training simulatins can show you some things you have yet to discover about your talent.

Shinu looked up at Raven, quite the character from the looks of it. Shinu didn't know what a gunblade was, but he definitely wanted to find out. Shortly after that, Nioelle walked in, definitely a pleastent sight for him.

Hello Nioelle! Pleasure to meet you madam, our student of the arts. I read that you are fond of Magical elements. I think you'll find out library quite expansive enough to meet your needs.

Cid bounced around the room now, flipping through portfoilios that apprently belonged to the students in the room. Shinu noticed that there were still a couple of more portfolios on the desk, and he was incredibly anxious to find out the faces that matched the names.

A few minutes later, a tall man, nearly Shinu's height walked in the room. He didn't state his name, but Cid seemed to know him.

Welcome Jonathan! Please, everyone just call me Cid. I'm not one for formalities. It's nice to feel meet you. I understand you have opted to build your own curriculum of overall blade studies. You should find that we can accomodate you with a fine collection ranging from two handed blades down to the smallest agile daggers.

Cid now looked down at his portfolios. Only a few more left, but he would have to get started soon regardless.

"Thank you sir." Grieves said as he turned to the others. "Pleasure to meet you all."

Nioelle smiled at the man.
