kairi led sonic from the library to cids office without saying a word to him. her earlier depression was stilling having a hard time wearing off. but she still gave off little fake smiles as she opened the door and pulled him inside then knocked on cids door and peeked in

"um. mr. cid sir? i found this new student see. and well. he doesnt have a dorm yet and he was lost so i thought i would bring him to see you." she said

Cid's head snapped up rather quickly at the sound of a guest. It was a bit late, but he didn't mind his students coming by to see him. He was in the middle of working out their next mission and was taking an ill advised break.

Oh?! Kairi it's wonderful to see you my dear. You really should stop by more often. That healing of yours could do an old man some good you know?

With a smile Cid look past her and surveyed the young man. He reached his hand down to his drawer and pulled out a file.

Sonic is it? How are you enjoying SeeD academy my boy?

Sonic smiled at the polite old man.
"I'm enjoying it well sir. I'm very glad to be here, thank you."

Ah no need for the formality. All the students here call me Cid! Please don't think of me as your headmaster, I like to know my students on a friendship basis.

Flipping open his folder, he reviewed Sonic momentarily.

Oh you're going to have a lot of fun in an upcoming mission I'm designing. Water adepts will be at the top of the class.

she smiled softly. cid had always been very polite and kind to the students and she admired

"your too kind cid." she smiled and then took her place in teh back of the room to observe the conversation that would follow till she head about the mission

"cid. can i ask what is the next mission?" she asked him eagerly hoping she would have a chance to finally get face to face with her brother in combat again.

"Sounds fantastic, Cid. I can't wait to help," Sonic said, admiring the kindness of the headmaster.

We're not ready for Galbadia yet Kairi, but we're going to be. Shinu has lined up an abundance of GFs for us to go and capture. The first of which is the most deadly. Your skills will be much needed.

He looked over Sonic's profile one last time and closed his folder.

Before the mission out at sea, there will be a mission with a deadly Guardian Force that could make or break our mission at the Garden.

kairi nodded to cid "i will make sure to do my best then" she said and looked determined. she wasnt going to let hiru get away with this. even if it was the last thing she did she was going to find him, and get even.

This place semmed to get better and better to Sonic. He had no clue what was in store for him, but he would prove he's worth something here.
Sonic bowed politely and smiled at Cid.
"So what did you need me to do now Cid? I'm new so I need some direction," laughed Sonic.

What do you do now? Ho ho my boy! No one tells you what to do at the Garden. You do what need be done to be prepared for missions. Train, study, practice, and make friends. No one babysits here, and if you aren't prepared for missions you choose to go on, then you'll die.

Cid chucked a little. Such a polite young lad, quite out of the ordinary. None the less he liked the boy.
