Cid sat behind his desk, reviewing the policy so that he could be clear about the young men's punishment. Alcohol was a serious offense at the Garden, but these were two of his top students. What a day this would be.

The door creaked as Lucien pushed it open.

"You wanted to see us about our punishment sir?" Lucien asked.

Lucien walked up and sat in one of the chairs in front of Cid's desk.

There was a knock on the door before Corenian's head poked into the room.
"Y-you wanted to see me?... Yea I think we should just enter first Fia" he asked at first before whispering to Fia. Pushing the door open, he shuffled into the room and noticed that Lucien was here as well and took the seat beside him.
"S-so what is this about?"

I believe both of you are aware that we have a surveillance staff at our Garden. I have recieved the reports that there was some alcoholic "fun" in the cafeteria. Would either of you like to explain?

Cid cared not who went first, he was genuinely interested in hearing their reasoning.

"I owned the alcohol. He's just trying to cover up for me. I should be the one who gets the slap on the wrist for bringing in the banned goods." Lucien said, interrupting Corenian before he could talk more.

"The fight between Raven and John stirred things up, and I have a slight attention disorder, so after Raven left the cafeteria I had the idea of consuming the alcohol. I passed the alcohol to Corenian, and bugged him to start a drinking game with me." Explained Lucien, making up his excuse as he talked.

"Enough, I do not need people covering up for me, it would hurt my pride as a martial artiste," he hissed, a hint of anger clear in his voice, the color of his eyes changing as they did during a battle, his personality making a sudden flip as he turned his attention to Cid, staring deep into his eyes,
"That sake as it is called, was a parting gift from the fighters up in the mountain, to be specific those who practiced the drunken fists style. It was a goodbye and a thank you gift for helping them with their problems which they normally got into after they got drunk. Either way, I'm seventeen, one year more till I am of legal age to drink, life is short, may as well enjoy it... besides, the fighters back up there used to give me some every fortnight when we would rest for two days after 12 days of non-stop training so I don't see anything wrong at all headmaster," he snapped defiantly, the now red pupils staring blankly at Cid

That's enough. No need to try to confuse me, I have it all on camera anyways.

Cid scratched his bald head, peering back and forth between the two men.

I'm not the type of guy to punish things of this nature. I am proud you two are sticking up for one another and not afraid of me. Though I am an authority figure you must respect, it's more important to count on one another. The only thing I ask is that you consider the younger students who look to all of you as an example. Am I clear?
