Thanks Apzrman, it's completely different to how I first conceptualized it but I had to change the composition due to time constraint etc. My teacher made me enter it into the school exhibition so the original personal motivation behind the drawing was lost.
What's a concept artist btw?

A concept artist is a person who does the drawings of characters/places/objects for movies & games.

Take Tetsuya Nomura for example. He's been working as a concept artist since Final Fantasy V, and he's been working on all FF's since (except for XII).

The only problem with your proposal is that employment opportunities are limited and you have to be the best of the best internationally which I know I'm not. I think I'll probably study it part-time as a secondary degree once I have my primary degree and job fixed up

You don't always have to be the "best of the best". I've seen plenty of games that have had their share of weird designed characters, take Ninjabread Man for example. Very simple art in it, even I could've been the concept artist for this game (even though I would never work for Data Design Interactive, since they're the worst game company ever).

At least you try to improve. When Tetsuya was making the characters for Kingdom Hearts 1, Riku was going to be apart of the restoration comittee. But when X-2 was announced he changed Riku to Yuiffi. He didn't change the clothes for Yuiffi either, he just erased Riku's face and replaced it with Yuiffi's.
